Chet & Emil's Motel is located in a small, sleepy town in northern Wisconsin. The venue has a lot of history and is a quaint and simple place attached to a bar, bowling alley, and hotel. It is by no means fancy, but the atmosphere is great, especially in the bar. The rooms are great and very clean. The standout feature is the food. Don't walk, but run for the best broasted chicken you will ever find. It is the best damn broasted chicken, hot and crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The meal includes broasted potatoes with butter, stuffing or dressing with gravy on the side, cranberries, rye bread, and the best creamy coleslaw. The coleslaw is creamy with just the right notes of vinegar. Other popular items include the haddock, yummy split pea soup, cheese curds, and a delicious caramel brownie cheesecake. The staff and service are outstanding, friendly, and attentive. The bartenders are fantastic. The bar serves delicious root beer on tap and one of the best old fashions, with mix available to buy. There is usually a wait for a table in the dining room, but it is well worth the time. You can have a cocktail or soft drink in the bar while you wait. Come hungry, you won't be disappointed.
We normally go here for the chicken or haddock. The root beer they have on tap is delicious. They also make one of the best old fashions I have had.

The room was great and very clean! Bar is in convenient location, so we went for drinks and dinner! Everything was wonderful! Will definitely be back!

Dang, no room at the bar so we are stuck in the dining room at Chet & Emil's, Inc.. I love the atmosphere I. The bar and the bartenders are fantastic. We’ll have to get a drink after dinner if it clears out by then. Plus, I think I get my t-shirt today.The cheese curds taste great. And that chicken? Yum yum get ya some.
