Most Dollar Generals are the same, but sometimes there's a member of staff that makes a particular store stand out.
This Bloomer store has a guy called 'DAN' working there, who is a complete delight! ⭐️
I've never been to Bloomer before, although it's not far away. Stopped in and this guy helped me find items, had a laugh and joke about the music playing, honored a coupon that wouldn't scan up, and then helped me by offering a way to make my daughter more comfortable having her diaper changed on the floor, because the bathrooms in DGs never have changing tables!
I've never had an employee be concerned with my daughter getting upset on the floor before, it was quite touching. I've had to do this so many times in your stores, I really don't understand why you haven't put changing tables in the bathrooms yet?!
Anyway, that's a gripe I have with DG in general.. It has nothing to do with the Bloomer store specifically. Atleast here you have an employee who cares ❤️.
You have a genuinely kind, helpful and fun member of staff in your store here, he definitely stood out enough for me to write this 😀. I just wanted to highlight hard work where it is, he deserves some recognition 👏 🌟.

The Bloomer Dollar General is never clean, the workers there are argumentative when asked questions, the aisles are often blocked with carts of unshelled merchandise, in one case the same cart was in the same place for 3 days with the same merchandise on it, obviously hadn't been touched in that time. Because of the aisle blockage it is difficult to shop there. Because the shelves are 1/2 empty all of the time, often items being shopped for can't be found. Rare to see the same employees in the store twice, so obviously a high turnover rate of employees. Other DG stores nearby don't have these issues. Perhaps with all these problems this store should be closed? Or at least overhauled !

So many boxes cluttering the floor, no price tags or things don't ring up correctly. The bags are super thin. Digital coupons don't ring up half the time. First step, pay your employees more to lower turn over & see less stressed faces.

Extremely slow service on multiple occasions. Over months everything became slow. then they got product in but took a long time getting it on shelves, every time I came to the store the bare minimum was put on the shelves, at one point in time i had to dig through their stuff that was not on the shelves to get dog food. I am extremely disappointed with this store. I have heard very good things about other 'dollar generals in the immediate area, I should just go there or somewhere else completely. I just can't believe I cant go to my own store to get basic stuff.
