I’m made a reservation on March 24, for a family reunion that we are holding July 17. I was guaranteed a room. On Monday, July 7, my husband received a text message, stating that we lost the house due to a monthly rental. But guaranteed we get room number nine with two queen beds. On July 12, we get a text message, late at night, that they are sorry, but they have somebody in the room who doesn’t want to leave. So they have to cancel our reservations. Our reservations is from July 17 until the 21st! This is not the way you handle businesses. Through my husband‘s business, there have been several times that we have had hotel reservations and I’ve had to leave for a weekend (if we are there for a long stay) because somebody had already made that reservation! We understood. You don’t accept a reservation in March and then turn around and cancel it at the last minute! This was a family reunion (our fifth year) and now we’re not going because all the other hotels are booked up! Very disappointed in this company! Oh and we were driving from Tennessee hence me making the reservation in advance!

Stayed here for a whole week. I would not recommend it.
We were put in room 10 which backed onto the garbage area.
The garbage was overflowing and spilling out when we arrived. Our room was full of flies and also tiny fruit flies. It was so bad that we immediately had to go out to buy a fly swat and bug spray.
Because of the garbage, which our window opened up on to, we could not open the window, and every time we opened the front door, more flies swarmed in.
Twice we found big cockroach-like beetles on our doormat.
There was a room whose door faced ours, number nine, that had a very noisy unfriendly person in it who went out every morning at 5 am and banged their door and cursed loudly. One morning they must have dropped their food, which we found remains of outside our door, and so kicked their door in temper, slammed the door and shouted and screamed. All that at 5.30 am!
Because we had parked by our room, the unfriendly neighbour at number nine left a nasty note on our windscreen telling us to move our car, even though there were plenty of spaces. When we text to tell the manager, he just told us to park a few doors up!
It was not a good experience to stay here.

Stayed here a few times over the last couple of years. Clean, quiet, fast internet, and the owner is very professional and nice. There is also a well stocked convenience store/gas station across the street. When I get back up this way again and need a room, this is the first place I'll call.
