“Shirley has a warm and welcoming home, a great breakfast and was an enjoyable host! We hadn't planned to spend much time, just needed a place to sleep while in town, but ended up chatting quite a bit with Shirley our hostess and learning all the latest information about Brodhead. My husband grew up there and informed me when we arrived that his great uncle used to leave in the house we were staying at. He had some vague memories of it so it was fun for him to see it again. Shirley informed us about all the upgrades to the Historic Museum so we spent a couple hours there. Even found a picture of Dudley's grandpa in front of his old linotype machine! We would definately book here again. Such a comfortable spot, a great hostess and a beautiful view right along the "race" waterway.”
