They purposely synchronize the lights on Bluemound to stop you at every intersection. They say that it increases traffic to the shops. I don't know if they've heard, but physical retail is in great decline (take a look at Brookfield Square). If there's ever a reason why I avoid Brookfield at all costs (and will look online before I ever think to come there to shop), it's because I know that I'm going to have my time, brake linings, and gasoline wasted stopping at every light on their streets. Why even have a 45 mph speed limit if you're just slamming on your brakes for the next light? Very wasteful.

The parks and recreational department is very rude. They will treat you very poorly if you are not a Brookfield resident. It is very sad.

I went in to pay my water bill and was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes (with lugging in my daughter along). Great, fast service!

This place has hands down great customer service. I went in here for a business permit and had to explain the addition to my business we all came to a agreement very quickly and they expressed some minor concerns. And did grant me my business permit right then and there. That was the easiest part of starting this business I wish everyone I had to deal with had there customer service and respect. Great job guys!!!!
