The "$20 oil change" does not include the $9 labor fee, $12 oil filter, and $6.40 environmental fee. Expect to pay over $50.

Should change the name to Gordon's #0 After the oil change, about two weeks later I noticed a lot of oil on my garage floor, and I had to take it in for a cracked oil gasket- also they didn't replace the air filter correctly, and had to reinstall that. Meanwhile, my friend also took her car here, and the same thing with oil leak and cracked gasket happened about a month prior to me taking mine in. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?I thought Dan was very pleasant, and helpful but Dave has a major attitude and overall his lack of any personality/customer service didn't go unnoticed. I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN, NOR WOULD I EVER RECOMMENDE THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY.

Tried them twice, there will not be a 3rd time. Bad service, bad attitudes, overpriced. Had a cracked manifold repaired or replaced and gasket, $600+ ... about a year later the same noise was happening so I took it to a shop by my house and not one but two mechanics took a look and said the same thing, "who ever did this work on your vehicle didn't properly tighten or replace the bolts that connect the manifold to the converter" I told them Gordon's and right away they said "yea they ONCE was a good place but they've been getting bad over the years, but that's another story"I also had 2 stabilizing pins SUPPOSEDLY replaced and a fuel sensor or something. $1,100!Ok, had my brake pads done by a young man and just for the hell of it I had him check the work on the pins, his diagnosis...ONE pin was replaced, the other pin was just tightened with old rusty hardware, NEVER replaced it yet charged me for parts and labor on TWO.not to mention the guys at the shop by my house took a look at my vehicle FREE of charge. Didn't charge me $200 just to look at it.Then the guy behind the counter just takes my payment and hands me my receipt, and walks off! No "thanks come again" "thanks for your business " NOTHING.NEVER AGAIN!

I wish I could give them less than 1 star. This was the worst experience at an auto shop I've had yet. First call I tell them my car is not keeping a charge and while we can't get it to stay running that it can start if the battery is charged. They take my car n do an $80 diagnostic, only to tell me they don't have the proper tools to keep it charged and so they'd have to charge me $300 to get another battery and install it. Somehow these are professionals and said it takes them a half hour to switch a battery when I've done it on my own in 5 minutes. So I bought a battery on my own and brought it in. Just for them to say they have to charge $40 for a wire and alternator diagnostic? Why not do that from the beginning with the information I gave you. The battery wasn't the problem to begin with. Then after a day in the shop they call the following morning to say my alternator was the problem and it'd be $640 to replace it. Finding that ridiculous I decided to get my car out and figure the alternator out on my own. But could not understand how I was being charged $253 for the diagnostics I did receive and the "install" of my battery. Upon going up there the staff all had poor attitudes not understanding why we're questioning their pricing or protocol for handling diagnostics or battery's for that matter. When breaking down the bill they then said the $40 diagnostics was actually $80 and also ended up charging me an environmental fee for what..the battery.. the battery I originally had, that I took home with my car? When I asked about their pricing structure they immediately tried to have me get my car out, rudely reminding me they close in an hour and a half otherwise id be paying a $35 storage fee. I got my car out then and there and strongly advise you find a higher quality and to put it simply more logical auto shop. If you want to get scammed Gordon's No. 1 Services & Tire is the place.

I called earlier in the week to get a price on transmission fluid service. Man on the phone of course asked make & model, put me on hold, and came back with a [reasonable] price. I scheduled the service. Few days later, drop it off. 30 minutes go by, they call me (I walked to work), and now the transmission service price is double. Not $50 or $100 more. Double. I ask, 'How does this happen?' He basically told me time & material. I said neither of these have changed from when I was given a price on the phone two days ago, etc. My initial reaction was to pass on the transmission service, but to go forward with some other preventative maintenance work I had requested. After thinking it thru, I called them back, and asked them to proceed with the trans service. I really wanted this done, and my alternatives were not convenient. A few hours later, after no calls, I call to see if it's done. He's like, 'Yeah.' No phone call? I walk over to pay and pickup. The receipt looks like it was written by a child. 'Transmission service - $xxx.xx'. Same with transfer case and rear differential. I asked him, 'What fluids were used, specifically? What brand, what weight, synthetic, etc? I've never received an invoice that didn't detail time and materials ... like at all'. He had zero response. I can't believe the information provided was so basic, especially for what I considered a premium price. After an awkward blank stare (he didn't know the answer, and clearly wasn't doing a thing to find out) ... I was like, 'Whatever, ring me up. I'm done here.' I've had decent work done here in the past. I know they are not the least expensive shop ... but I chose them for what I felt was good work. Not anymore. Now I'm left with an insanely heavy bill and no idea what I actually paid for.Services: Transmission

They are expensive but service is quick. I have been there few times for repair. This time they changed the battery, rotors and brake pads but I don't know how they broke the plastic part of the shift knob. That was a careless job.
