Picked up a at Midway and Drove it back to the Hertz location in a Sheraton. This location took several days after I dropped off the car to check it meanwhile my card kept getting charged every night for extra nights despite talking to the woman on the day I dropped the car off. Now 4 months later I am getting charged for TOLLS I passed through despite having had pre-paid for them when I initially rented the car. DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ. The only good part of this experience was the woman who initially rented me the car at Midway airport. It was just downhill from there.

BEWARE!! I should have listened to all the terrible reviews so I wouldn’t have been in a bad situation. I booked a Suburban a few months in advance of a trip I had planned called and talked with an employee to confirm it would work and was the vehicle I needed before I booked. Then the week of I called to confirm again everything was good it would be a suburban or expedition Max and it would ready the morning of to pick up at 8am like I booked. I was told it should be all good but to call back the night before just to confirm. So I called back the night before at 5pm and talked to an Chris and was told the vehicle wasn’t returned yet but “should most likely be back and ready in the morning” and told it wouldn’t be a suburban or expedition max cause those weren’t available but they would most likely have some type of car available. Which wouldn’t work for my situation. The hertz employee was zero help and didn’t try to correct the situation at all. This is extremely disappointing considering I planned and booked it months in advance. I ended up canceling it and just going to enterprise rental car and had a great experience with them.I would highly not recommend them at all I’d give them 0 stars if I could.

This is a terrible franchise location. Line out the door with one overworked person there. I’m 2 hours into this fiasco and still don’t have the rental I paid for. It’s not the lone workers fault for sure, but come on. Staff appropriately and have the cars on hand.

I've rented cars here in the past, never had a problem. This time, I placed the reservation online, there was no problem with making payment, everything seemed fine.Get to the location to pick up the car, suddenly they have a long list of banks they cant accept.Said list is not posted ANYWHERE on the Hertz website. I used the same debit card from the same bank on my last rental, and they had no problem with it then.Had to go down to the airport and get a car from Alamo instead.Sorry Hertz, you changed, and you lost a customer.

Rented here a couple times, You obviously get the vehicle you pay for and that’s great but just not good service. I tend to rent a lot and will be at least looking at different companies before going here.

I'm done with Hertz and their other affiliates. Three days before my pickup date (Thanksgiving weekend) I was called saying my pickup location only offers Tesla ( reservation was made MONTHS ago). There was no, I'll try and help you get into a rental, somewhere else, just goodbye. Now I'm scrambling to call customer service. Luckily customer service found a location with my car size available, but now the rental will cost me $70 more. I ended up having to cancel the reservation, my credit card was charged even though I canceled in time. Let's go back six months (4th of July) I get to my pickup location, it's no longer open. Absolutely nothing offered for my inconvenience.

Terrible franchise model service, had a mechanical trouble and was 1000 miles away and none of the local franchise would rent the car for replacement. They had car for new booking. Unbelievable. And on top of that the car was dirty when I went to pick it up (booked weeks ago). They would also deny delivery of vehicle and asked me to go to the airport which was 1+ hour away. Just terrible customer service.

This company is always terrible!!! I vowed 4 years ago not to Ever use them again. However my auto was in an accident and this is their preferred vendor. I go there no problem, advise this is an insurance rental and may be out for an extended period as I am waiting on my mercedes to be repaired. Throughly knowing parts take time. This company calls, harasses, places ridiculous overcharges, etc. I notify them they're like ooh, we see sorry we will have this fixed. Next week which literally is 3 days from my 2 hr phone call to fix. Same issues and phone calls on Labor Day but NO ONE Answers the call. This company should be CLOSED for consumer safety, harassment, and unlawful business practices. I'll be there first thing in the am to return this contraption, because this is toooooo much!!!Don't Ever Ever Ever Ever Ever use them, unless you are desiring to be aggravated!!!!!HORRIBLE 0 stars!

Line out the door on a Monday morning. One overworked employee for all of us. Happens every time at this location.Staff is great here but expect a wait and don't expect to have your reservation you made months ago be honored. Short on staff and cars.Hertz doesn't respect you as a customer or its overworked staff. Gotta keep thoes profits at all time highs 24/7 !

They have a good selection of cars. Please be aware that they try to sell you costly upgrades without you realizing about it. The front desk can't do much changes for your rentals - you need to call them to get it done.
