I'm only giving three stars and I understand the fact that at some point the situation was taking care of but I still want to bring awareness to it to others I literally looked around for a sign looked back and my 6-year-old was missing I immediately looked around the store couldn't find her couldn't hear her so I went over to a cashier asked him if he had seen her he said no I gave a description of her asked him if he had still seen her he said no so I asked him if he could send out a page over the intercom or the walkie-talkie he was more interested in accounting change for a customer then he was my daughter and told me to wait one second while he handles the customer at this point I could hear my daughter yelling out Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy Mommy which is what I taught her if we ever get separated the thing is I was able to find my daughter safe however that split-second that it took for him to count his change anybody could have grabbed my daughter and she could have been gone so I immediately filed a complaint because my opinion this cashier should have known better I had other customers who have actually been previous JCPenney employees tell me that it's protocol that if a child is missing they're supposed to stop what they're doing and send out a page and hopes that child is found safely. It's sad he couldn't take two seconds to help me find my daughter. We were trying to find the elevator n she got excited saying she saw it that's why she ran to it I just looked up n around for the sign for it. Also the bathrooms definitely needed some attention. The cashier in returns n the manager I spoke with about my situation were professional and kind

Service was almost non existent. Could not find a place to check out or anyone to ask. Sad to see the demise of a store brand I used to enjoy shopping at.

really unfortunate experience with the photo department - waited almost an hour and they couldn’t get it figured out. By the time they were setting up we had to leave. Employees all showed up late and didn’t seem to want to be there.

Deals were great, but not sure what to do about not receiving one item that was most likely mistakenly not put in my bag. Didn't discover that until my husband came home two days later to try everything on.

Generally have had good experiences at this store. Prices are good when there are sales and when additional promo codes and discounts are available. The only negative was a recent experience when I called the store to inquire about their price adjustment policy.I told the person who answered that I had purchased items online the previous week and that the prices had gone down since then. She told me to bring the receipt to the store and that I would be given the price adjustment if the purchase was made within 7 days. That time limit she told me differs from what's posted on the JC Penney website, which says: One time sales adjustments will be made in-store within 14 days of the purchase with the original sales receipt.So we went to the store immediately only to be informed that they do NOT do price adjustments for online purchases and that we needed to call the toll-free customer service number. Well, it would've been nice to get accurate information when I first called so that we did not waste time and gas driving 10 miles roundtrip to the store. I explicitly told her when I called that I had made the purchase online. It was a straightforward inquiry and scenario that every employee should know the correct answer to. Please train your staff better so that other customers aren't given wrong information.

Okay. JCPenny needs to have bigger sizes XXLT Mens Jackets, Sports Gear, Clothing for a Muscular Giant Man such as myself!¡! And the douchebag attitude male cashier to lazy, to even go check in back to see if Brewers & Bucks Hoodies & Jackets in my size.

They truly have some good deals in this store if you have the time to look through everything. Do not be afraid to browse through their clearance racks to find good bargains.

I was forced to apply for a credit card, which majorly affected my credit score and my home purchase. When the billing person asked me i clearly said NO for more than 5 times, he literally argued for 10 minutes and convinced that there will not be any hard checks on my credit, only soft checks will be applied. I am really disappointed with this, just to get more credit cards out of the door these guys are telling lies and making customers suffer.
