I always leave Julie's yoga classes feeling great. Julie is a patient, warm and kind instructor who encourages everyone to go at their own pace and level. The yoga space is quiet and tranquil and is a great part of my week.

Highly recommend gentle yoga! Classes are productive and relaxing. I've experienced increased flexibility and strength, decreased pain, and improved response to stressful situations. A great workout for the body, mind, and spirit

I began weekly classes at Kolibri Yoga & Kirten about 8 months ago, based on the recommendation of a friend. The first peaceful yoga class I attended was so rejuvenating, relaxing, and self-affirming that I've continued these sessions for my physical and emotional health. Julie guides participants through poses, stretches, and movement at a relaxed pace with clear instruction - perfect for new students, but definitely meaningful for regular yoga practitioners too. She takes the time to know each of her students, and if they have physical limitations or specific goals she offers modifications to the exercises for a more customized experience. Since I've been coming to weekly classes, I noticed increased strength and flexibility, which helps me keep up with my toddler son! Importantly, the gentle movements have improved my fitness to the point that I've experienced a profound reduction of pain in my abdomen (post c-section) and arm (a condition for which I was prescribed physical therapy). Kolibri is a welcoming environment where I can check my worries/stress at the door and treat myself to therapeutic yoga with new and old friends.

I have been going to class here for two months and it is a wonderful experience each time! It is welcoming to all regardless of experience and body type. It is a safe environment for everyone and restores both body and mind. If you have been afraid to try yoga, you should definitely try this place! The pace is amenable to those with no yoga experience or for those with challenges such as arthritis.

Beautiful beautiful studio, and beautiful people in it! I was honored to hold my first event in Wisconsin here, and I'm certainly anxious to come back!
