Like stepping back into the 60's. Not much modern in supplies, but just what I'm looking for. Feels like a rummage store.

My "go to" store for anything in my crafting quest. Sales lady is extremely helpful and knowledgeable in every craft imaginable! The prices are amazingly reasonable, the selection of items is amazing. There's a cute tiny dog that's the store mascot that loves to follow people around & loves to beg for treats but will go lay on his blanket after a few minutes. He's a service dog (& it's posted on the door) but I've never had an issue with him.All the customers I've seen have loved him .The real hidden gem was discovering Rose's Dollhouse in the lower level. My first visit to that section lasted HOURS. I was entranced by all the miniature items - everything from dolls to food to animals - and everything in between!

Varied selection of craft supplies. Was able to find size 20 crochet thread when other shops only had size 10. If you enjoy miniatures, the true treasure is downstairs. Old fashioned shop with hand written inventory, be prepared to take your time. Worth a trip!

Nice lady waited on us and helped us throughout the store to locate all the products we needed. Antique paints, yarn, and they have a cute little dog mascot that helps you out as well.

Sales lady was rude to my 2 and 4 year old upon entry to the store. There’s nothing in that mom and pop shop that I can’t buy on Amazon. I was in that store for less than 1 minute.

Sales lady was nice but there was a dog there, yup an animal in a store. As we entered we were greeted and immediately warned not to touch or pet the dog because it BITES. It hovered around us and scared my son so badly he told me he had the worst fear ever of a dog in that moment. Why have a dog that bites in a public store??!! The dog would not leave us be and kept begging for treats at our feet. If you are looking for items from the 1960’s, literally in packaging from that era, then you have found the right place. It was also dusty and stuffy and had dog danger around. Anyone allergic to dust or dogs and doesn’t want to possibly be bitten don’t go. This is a place to find old fashioned craft and doll making items though. It was just not for me. It has changed a lot over the years. Layers of dust over many items. I have a sore throat after being there and think it kicked up my allergies. Sorry but this store just seemed like an old dusty attic with a dog following you around. Why did I stick around??? I used to visit that store about 25 years ago as a kid and wanted to see if they had same great stuff; short answer NO!

internet says Marasco's is permanently closed. WRONG. I was there on Monday, March 15. Shelves are well-stocked. Great service. Let's keep these local shops going!
