Not a very helpful bank especially with helping me run my small business. I have given them the benefit of the doubt multiple times, and I feel like I keep getting slapped in the face by them. I don't know how many times I've walked into a branch to speak with someone on making a large transaction go through knowing that I have the funds, and for some odd reason the transaction keeps getting blocked. I have called multiple times, and not only do they keep giving me the run around, customer service closes early. I am a small business owner that doesn't have the time most days to call the bank early so them closing early doesn't help. If I could give North shore Bank a zero score I would.

It's a bank, nothing special, just another boring bank. However, I do not understand all the hate. As a person who values honesty, I will support local banks like North Shore Bank over all those "too big to fail" banks that actually harms American Democracy and people's livelihoods.To sum it up, the people at North Shore Bank, on average, are very friendly. These are everyday working class people like you and me.

I wish I could give them 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not possible. I applied to work here, and the HR Gina was very rude to me and racist. Her comments were so rude, and she was not respectful at all, she was very rude and blunt.

it is amazing this bank is in business. completely horrific customer service, confusing terms and very unclear account information. they have two separate places that you have to log in to view account info and pay loans.

Update. Finally thru to a person! D.J. was very helpful and courteous. Thats all they got going for them.Got an RV loan thru the RV dealer with Northshore. Their online banking is lacking details I should have available. Try to contact them! What a joke. The answering computer tells you to press 5 to get a call back. I press 5 and nothing happens. Starting to wonder if this bank is overseas!!!

Extremely poor online interface. Setting up "auto pay" was very confusing and frustrating. Which resulted in having to call then 3 times! in total with hold times was over 2 hrs! The only reason this is not a 1 star is because the ladies on the phone were very helpful. I would highly recommend using any other bank for your loan as they also only offer $500 deductibles not $1000 further raising my yearly rate with insurance companies. Basically they don't seem to offer any benefits for there lack of an intelligent online interface. Sad Times Boys and Girls

If I could leave a 0 star review I would, Sold a RV and bank took days...days to provide documents that loan was satisfied. Now if i paid with check I could understand, but payment was in cash. This is the worst bank I ever had to deal with. USE ANOTHER BANK!!!!

Terrible service. The business banking moves very slow and feels like a big bank. 10 layers of approvals manager is very rude, likes to hear herself talk (Margaret i believe). Would recommend an actual community bank not a US bank knock off

Mariella was an amazing asset to help me change my accounts to North Shore Bank. The process of changing banks can be very stressful, but she was there through every step to answer my questions. It was a very enjoyable experience and I am very pleased to have chosen to bring my business to North Shore!

A good brick & mortar bank. No complaints about in-person needs but I rarely visit a branch in-person anymore. NSB's website is OK but PDF statements regularly appear a day or two later than expected - paperless statements should be available on the 1st of the month at bare minimum. NSB needs to incorporate 2-factor authentication on the website. The phone APP is adequate - you can deposit checks by taking a photo but please tell the APP coders forcing the flash ON is not warranted. Also preferred clicking the check photo myself rather than zooming in and the APP auto-clicking the photo without any user control. Look elsewhere for storing cash - NSB can't compete with online bank/investment products (NSB's 0.01% VS an online bank's 0.50%.) And, counterintuitive to the name, there are no branches between Grafton and Sturgeon Bay. Seems at least Sheboygan should have a branch.

In this day and age, what kind of financial institution doesn't have a way to make an online payment toward principal only? Well, North Shore Bank is one of them! You can't even make one over the phone, the only way to do it unless you live near a branch is mailing a check, and don't get me started on the USPS. Terrible system, I'll just pay off the loan in full rather than participate in their racket!

Beware. The banks were once recently desperate for your coins and in some cases would pay you a small gesture amount for them. And now, the thieves (the banks) that don't give you a damn cent in interest parking your hard earned money in their filthy accounts! However, they will charge you 5% fee to change out those coins into bills! Crooks!!
