Amazing hotel. Good amenities. Excellent front desk workers. You can borrow an assortment of cookware items, such as Crock-Pots, blenders, waffle irons, and other things. The elevator is great. Really helps after a long day. Pet friendly, and cheaper than most places. $20/wk, as compared to $20/day. No pool, but great for long term stays. Up to 1br apartment style king rooms, with pull out couch.

Came down to have coffee in the morning. They have no cream. Went to the front desk. Told them about the situation and that answer to me was sorry about that and they could do nothing about it. How can a hotel be without cream is beyond me. I'm not really happy with this place and our advise anybody to come here to really ask questions before you come here. I asked him who the owner was. He told me the owner's name last name Kahn it seems once again I go into a hotel with foreign ownership and it just goes down the tubes be aware of this place. Be aware of a hotel who's owner goes by the name of Kahn service is terrible. You can't have cream in the morning with your coffee. They charge your arm and a leg for the facility, but it's really nothing to it. It's actually a bare bones location. Be aware while I was talking to the attendant at the front desk I seen a big jar of coffee mate. Liquid coffee made sitting on top of a some kind of coffee machine. I asked him if there was any creamer in that. He said that it was empty yet they had it just sitting there so they had it. They just didn't. He didn't want me to use it. Avoid this place at all costs now they're trying to say that there was creamer there. The person that I ran into at about 7:00 a.m. was adamant that there was no creamer and was adamant that he was going to do nothing about it. So don't try to sugarcoat it avoid this place like the plague

Great rooms! They have a kitchenette, huge bonus. All the basics are walking distance and the property was clean. It's on the north side, but only took 20 minutes to get to

The location is fantastic for my husband’s temporary Locums job at Rogers BH right across the street! The staff is very helpful and we have a quiet room with everything we need. The executive chair in kitchen is a nice touch.

This place is like a penthouse in a crack den.I knew i was in trouble when my drove up with my dad and he said "i don't like this hotel" before we even got in. He said he didn't like it as it's so dark in the outside but i dismissed it. But inside wasn't so nice, the area where you can buy drinks was half empty, the room wasn't so nice, the bed small, just cheap and gross and i won't be staying at this brand anymore .The only positive was the front desk guy. He was nice.

I stayed at Candlewood over the weekend with my wife. and the staff especially the Manager Stacey, couldn't be more accommodating. The room was clean and very well maintained. We came in from California to visit my Mother. And we will be back around the holidays. We will be staying here again.

My company stayed here and intended to stay long term while we look for housing. During our stay we found the AC did not work in which took well over 24 hours to get anyone to just look at it or make other accommodations. Upon my complaint the owner of the hotel chose to evict me.We weren’t being obnoxious, noisy nor doing anything illegal nor disruptive.Events we saw happening here were*Weed in hallways*Empty store pantry*Broken refrigerators*Cars broken into*Nasty rooms*Outdated building*Hot hallways*Broken washer and dryer*TV didn’t work*Rude Rude owner*Coffee condiments unavailableEvictions if you complainI’ve never stayed at an IHG hotel like this before. This is a good hotel for a long stay, whether you're waiting to get into a house or there for work. The well-stocked kitchenette with a full refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and ice maker was awesome to have. As a long term stay location, house keeping isn't the same as other hotels but it doesn't take much to empty trash and request new towels periodically. Breakfast and standard toiletries are not free but again, this is a place to stay for longer stretches versus a single night. The important stuff:- Full kitchen with two stove burner and fridge/freezer- 20+ various kitchen appliances available to borrow from the front desk- FREE laundry machines- Covered patio with propane grill- Good water pressure/temperature control- Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in showers- Friendly staff!Probably more, but this is not a fancy hotel but clean and extremely convenient and practical. 10/10 would stay here again.

This place is ok and very affordable but the wifi is kot so good. Pretty strict almost got kicked out because my baby was crying late at night and someone reported it. Rude neighbour's. The room 307 AC didn't work so it was hot we complained a few times and they didn't do anything about it. But other hotel rooms AC worked. I wouldn't suggest this hotel unless it's a last resort. Also the walls were really thin.

MANAGING EXPECTATIONS For $95/night, I'm not getting a hotel with an omelette bar, and I accept that. Credit my wife for suggesting a spur-of-the- moment trip to Wisconsin this past weekend. We spent two nights at this Candlewood Suites in Brown Deer, roughly 8 miles north of downtown Milwaukee. There's a Culvers nearby on Green Bay Rd. Candlewood Suites are part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group, which also includes Staybridge Suites and the Holiday Inn family. There's no continental breakfast, no juice bar, no muffins or pastries. No pool, either--just a gym. Check-in was fine and the staff seemed friendly. While the room's keycard let us in the first time no problem, every following attempt was iffy at best. I think the card reader on our door knew we were from Illinois ("get outta here, ya FIBs!") And so we stood outside our room, keycard in hand, trying to find the perfect motion and angle to insert the ƒu¢k!ng thing. Last few places we've been, the cards were RFID/tap and entry was seamless. In the event I was just being a moron, I asked my wife to try and she had plenty of difficulty as well. The bed was comfy. Pillows and blankets were fluffy, good water pressure in the shower. Having a kitchenette at our disposal was a big help; we made ample usage of the full-size fridge, microwave, and electric stovetop, though we stopped short of needing to run the dishwasher. After returning from the Wisconsin State Fair, we hoped the hotel corridors would offer a break from the heat. Alas, the A/C was off in both the elevator and hallways and, coupled with the issues we had getting the room key to work, it was an unpleasant few minutes...during which I contemplated using a nearby fire axe to gain entry to our room. * TL;DR * I'm not expecting caviar and champagne toasts from a 2-star booking. I expect room keys to work more than 80% of the time, and air conditioning in the hallways when it's blazing hot outside. Not too much to ask, I think. Would I stay at a Candlewood Suites again in the future? Maybe, if the only other option was an Econo Lodge or a Days Inn. I'd grade our time here as a 'C-'......passable, but not pretty.

If you like smelling cannabis everywhere you go into the building and outside. Location is terrible if you want to see Milwaukee. Needs renovations and upgrades. Not 9ne I can or would recommend. Staff is friendly and helpful, but It appears they are overwhelmed with how the place is.

I’ve enjoyed my 6 week stay here. Stacy, the property manager, is amazing. She went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Because of her hospitality, I will book here again. The property and rooms are clean. Housekeeping is scheduled weekly. Friendly and courteous staff.

I would love to be able to review our stay, but we weren't even able to stay there. We booked our hotel through Priceline, and were turned away BY the hotel when we did not show up "at check in". I've NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE! Hotels don't have curfews. They also didn't want to give me my money back, because they said I should've CALLED TO LET THE HOTEL KNOW WE WERE GOING TO BE LATE. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm what?!?!?!?!?! It is ILLEGAL for them to charge me for a service and then refuse for no reason. I spent 5 HOURS on the phone with Priceline on Sunday and eventually used MY OWN BRAIN to come up with the idea to call the hotel, themselves. I called the hotel, talked to a sympathetic soul (it was her second day) and eventually was told this would be handled by the hotel manager "tomorrow". I called Priceline again, BRIGHT AND EARLY, the next day, received confirmation that the hotel had refunded Priceline and that we would receive our $$ in 1 day. WE DID NOT. I just spent ANOTHER HOUR on the phone with priceline, who said they never received confirmation from the hotel, so I called the hotel and was told by someone who started apparently working there TODAY that they do not handle this and to wait and speak to a manager who will be in on Monday. When I told him that was unacceptable and we have already waited 5 days, he hung up on me REPEATEDLY and now will not answer the phone. This hotel is shady, is not customer oriented, doesn't care of anyone but themselves and apparently everyone has only worked there for 1 day. I will NEVER use them or priceline again!!
