Luckily I called to ask about something on Tuesday afternoon before my Thursday move because they had me down for first thing Wednesday morning instead of first thing Thursday. I'm generally a pretty detailed oriented person but will also admit that miscommunications can never happen with just one person. The guy I talked to was friendly the whole time and assured me they could work with me to make the schedule work. I got a call later that day from someone else who said the same thing, shouldn't be a problem to make Thursday work, I said even if you can make it later in the day on Wednesday clearly there was a miscommunication and I could make that work. He said he was sure he could make that happen for me and that he would give me a call back once he talked to his scheduler. This was all happening pretty quick so after about an hour I called him back and was told there was nothing they could actually do and the guys would be there at 9 AM the next day so I got to frantically getting my packing done since I had originally taken Wed. off to finish that before my Thursday move because I had to be out by Friday. When they got there at 10:30 am (not 9) on Wednesday the guys were great, super friendly, on the ball, and careful about everything they were doing right up until they weren't. Unfortunately they dropped a solid wood bar cabinet that I can't replace. I get that mistakes happen but there was a little bit of negligence that led to this mistake. One of them started to take it down the stairs on a dolly with no straps or wrap at all after I warned them about the doors only being held closed by magnets, and he almost dropped it on the second stair down. The two of them managed to pull it back up just to have them throw one layer of shrink wrap around part of it and then when one of them suggested taking it down the stairs together, the other waved him off and said he had it. He almost made it before I heard the crash. Like I said mistakes happen and while him deciding to go it alone annoyed me I was mostly happy that it didn't go crashing through the window at the bottom of the steps and that nobody got hurt. Stuff can be replaced, its just stuff. Unfortunately the whole experience has continued to get worse since then. He said it was going to write it up, take pictures and that someone would call me while they were still there to discuss what was next, that didn't happen. He also neglected to tell me that in his report he could only add three pictures of the worst damage and that I should take pictures of all of it for the record. Well didn't hear from anyone while they were still moving, I asked again and he said he wasn't sure why they hadn't called and that I should hear that day still, again, that didn't happen. I did miss a call from them the next day where they said they heard there was an issue and gave me the email address to file and claim and asked me to send pictures of all of the damage, I was a little shocked because this wasn't at all what I was told was going to happen. When I finally did talk to the person who was supposed to call me he couldn't understand why I was annoyed that I didn't get a call when I was told I would, why I was annoyed that clearly either people didn't know what the process was supposed to be or they just told me what they felt would make it easiest on them. They then offered me $50 off my bill for my troubles and said they would send over their woodworking person to take a look at the bar. Played phone tag with them for a couple of days and finally got that scheduled for 3 weeks out now.So now I've paid them $1K for the move, they've broken my $2500 bar cabinet that I can't replace even if I want to in what was a completely avoidable accident and I'm waiting 3 more weeks for a woodworker to come over and tell me what anyone with eyes can see, its not fixable because the woods is snapped, I'm sure any good furniture maker would be able to take it apart and re-build it but unless that'

During a recent remodel, I confidently entrusted Two Men and a Truck to move my belongings out. Unfortunately, my dresser was destroyed in the process. However, I promptly filed a claim and was assured by the claims person that they would have an answer for me by the end of last week. Despite this, I have yet to receive any resolution. It's disheartening to hear that other residents also experienced damage and missing items during their moves.

This is my second experience in the last six weeks with this mover. A friend had previously hired them to move heavy oak furniture from my house to hers. We were so impressed with the professional job they did, that when I needed to move more very heavy old furniture from my attic to another home out of state, we hired them again.Andrew and Josh came on time, were friendly and courteous, and handled heavy dressers down two flights of narrow stairs with care. Family on the other end of the job had the same positive experience. I could not be more pleased with the service from this company. They clearly hire and train their people well!Five stars for Andrew, Josh, and Two Men and a Truck!!

The guys did great and were super nice during my move! I felt bad since it was so hot that day and my apartment didn't have an elevator they got everything done super fast and put all my stuff where I wanted it to go! I'm giving 4 stars since they did mess up my times and they came later than the time they said they would come. Other than that they were amazing and I would highly recommend!

I could not get a hold of this company to get a quote for a move. Left multiple messages with no return call. Requested a response online with no follow up. When I finally talked to someone there was no follow up in writing. The office operations are extremely poor and unresponsive. You lost our potential business because of it and we are probably just the tip of the iceberg. Your office needs to be revamped- get employees who are invested in the customer!!!!

Were do I begin. First of all, I have used Two Men and a Truck 3 times prior to my last move with a great experience, but not the last time. The woman who helped me set up my move said she would be there to help every step of the way, and feel free to call with any questions. Well, I did have questions prior to the move and called several times to speak to her, left messages on her voice mail and had no response. I had to speak to her co-workers to have my questions answered, terrible customer service. Then as far as the actual move, it took the two moving men 5 hours to move my furnishings into a 2 bedroom apartment! I finally figured why it was taking so long, the workers smelled like marijuana! Yes, that's right! They were getting high on my dime! They worked out of the Wauwatosa location, I will NEVER hire this company again, it has totally gone downhill.

What an absolutely awful experience. Horrible in every way. The amount of damage our property has sustained as a result of Two Men and a Truck is nothing short of disgusting. These men showed recklessness for our property and complete disregard for our time (we were being billed hourly). I wasn't going to complain after our movers took a 40 minute break with no explanation. I wasn't going to complain when our movers did not come equipped with proper tools and required me to lend them my own personal equipment to finish the job. I wasn't going to complain when our movers forcefully ripped boards from wood without bothering to loosen the screws, causing significant stripping and damage. I wasn't going to complain when they moved so agonizingly slow that a move previously finished in 2 hours took nearly 6... But when we arrived to our new place and saw the treatment of our items, it came time to complain. Our brand new mattress now has a significant rip. Our box springs have been severely dented. Our new desk is scratched. Our vintage record table, a family heirloom, has a large piece of wood missing. A box that was well packed has been crushed - seriously how do you crush a Tupperware container and bend a knife at a 90 degree angle?! I've included pictures of all of this. We aren't even unpacked yet, so I am nervously holding my breath for the other broken items we will find as we continue. I would absolutely not recommend. Avoid at all costs. Use another moving company, your friends or heck - use a random stranger - for better results.

My mum used there services. They should be Three Stooges and a Truck. These clowns damaged the fridge from the condo they bought to go to the old house, damaged walls and doors at the old house. Don't use these schmucks, unless you plan on remodeling afterwards.

I had used Two Men and a Truck milwaukee several times over the years. They used to be courteous and efficient. However now someone else has taken the franchise as of 1/1/2021. At least that's what they said. They say they are new franchise owners and have no records from before 1/1/2021 They phone reps are awful and extremely disrespectful. They seem to take pleasure in humiliation and belittling customers If that's the attitude how can you trust them with your belongings. Don't just walk away from them run away from these people. They have multiple phone numbers that come to one location. As much as I want to support local businesses this is definitely not one I can support

The movers were 2 hours late. I had communicated MANY times that I was leaving later that afternoon and was on a time crunch. I received NO communication other than me calling to ask where they were. "We had people call in sick this morning, they should be there in 30 minutes". Well, even an HOUR later they still were not there and I still was not updated. I was late to my new apartment's orientation and had to do that in between while I was waiting for them. Then the movers arrived and were extremely slow. They took forever to be able to even situate the truck and were not moving quickly at all. It took 4.5 hours for a job that should have taken 2-3 costing me hundreds of extra dollars. I repeatedly told them which items had things inside of them and they still were not careful and boxes fell out of under storage, almost breaking a lot of my stored cans, etc. They were nice and courteous, but I will not be using this service again.

I used Two Men and a Truck in the past to move one piece of furniture from my business to my home. Although I received a call that the truck was to arrive in 30 minutes (as requested, so I could drive the 15 minutes to the store to meet them), they actually arrived after only 5 minutes and charged me for the time. I paid the extra hour ($144) but I wasn't pleased. Today I decided to try them again. After not receiving an the online quote that I requested, Alycia accused me of not filling in the form correctly, and instead of just saying "let's get a quote going now" continued to be combative about the process. I decided to cancel the quote. I will find another solution for my business.
