Oulu Glass Gallery is a special place located between Hwy 13 and Hwy 2 along the south shore of Lake Superior. Open daily from May 24 to January 30, with classes available from November to January, it showcases three generations of glassmakers. One of the highlights is the Teapot Garden, filled with blooming flowers and a collection of unique teapots collected over many years by the owner's mother. The glass blowing studio opens in the fall. They will be offering glass blowing classes. The art pieces in the shop were very beautiful. I picked up a few pieces for gifts and a memento for me. Will probably go back for a class.
