About Door County KOA Holiday
Door County KOA Holiday offers cabins, tents, and RV camping on 58 acres of beautiful, wooded land. Many guests find the staff very nice and helpful, praising the big, roomy, and level pull-through sites. The campground features three pools and is considered a perfect location for exploring Door County, described as a gateway to natural beauty and local charm. However, experiences vary. Some guests report downsides, including a bad location that is a drive from area attractions. The advertised wifi can be nonexistent, though it is reportedly being worked on. A significant issue for several is the water quality, described as bad, undrinkable, and full of sediment, with a rotten eggs smell near bathrooms that worsens with hot water. The campground can also feel very buggy and crowded, with people everywhere. Some sites are noted as very small and under electric wires. Other concerns include limited water slide hours, unsupervised kids riding mini bikes in pedestrian areas, and dogs left off leash. Despite these complaints, many visitors highly recommend the campground, considering it among the best.

We bought the 10% off membership for KOA and it happened to be at the week where they had camper appreciation so are fees were very very small. The bathroom is a sink, toilet and shower and the room was heated. I was wearing a sweatshirt and had to take it off.. very impressed with the place.
