“I made a “new patient” appointment for my dog and it happened to land on the day we had a huge snow storm. Their office decided to close at noon and I was scheduled for 2:45pm. They called to reschedule me and I expressed my desire to get in because I had some concerns about my pooch. The girl at the front desk was so friendly and squeezed me in at 10:30am.The vet tech, Mallory was lovely too. She bundled up to take my dog outside to gather a urine sample, so they could get it tested same day…I thought my pup may have a UTI. She did! And because of Mallory, they were able to start my dog on antibiotics that day. The veterinarian, Dr. Andrea Sobon was referred to me by a friend and she did not disappoint! She spent almost 2 hours with me explaining and answering all my questions. She is beyond amazing at her job!I recommend this clinic if you are looking for a vet and staff that genuinely have your pets best interest at heart.Everyone I came into contact with had amazing customer service.Thanks for a great experience.”

I came to Richfield Area Pet a clinic a couple days ago because my dog was not acting himself. I was extremely concerned about him as he was in pain. They provided detail care information and how to maintain wellness on my piggies - teeth, skin etc. My two year old was also able to an active part of the appointment. I appreciate the help ending her suffering.One thing I would note for improvement is that the assistants that day at the desk were a bit loud in discussing about other things (work related complaints that could have been discussed in private ir withheld), when I feel and have been trained to be more respectful to the situation. “Great spot for routine care and of course in emergencies. We use Advanced Animal Hospital for our regular care for our 11 year old dog. The whole team from reception to vet team are all awesome to work with. Everyone always has a smile and is happy to see your furry family members! We recently were in and had a check up with Dr. Dzika. He was very informative and transparent about future care. With our dog being older, we've got a teeth cleaning in our future. “Absolutely amazing place. I have brought a couple of my dogs here over the last 15 years and they have always received great care. The staff is always friendly, compassionate and amazing and goes above and beyond in my opinion. One time a few years ago I called in a panic when my dog was choking on something. My car was in the shop at the time and due to the emergency situation they offered to drive over to my house to try and help save my dog's life. Luckily I was able to dislodge the item after trying a couple things they advised to do and my dog was fine. Just the fact that they were willing to go out of their way to save my dog's life tho speaks volumes. I highly recommend this place! They are always my go to vet whenever one of my dogs needs to be seen and always will be.”

“Just wow. This place is amazing. ?I have a one year old Chinese Crested Miniature Dachshund who was having urinary issues. It was just crazy how fast things went downhill.My little guy had been peeing a little bit of blood for a day or two before we went to WVRC. We had an ultra sound done there, and that came back with flecks of crystals, but he was stable, and we took him home while I found a primary vet for him.We had another appointment a few days later with his now primary vet who did a urine test on a friday. By Monday night, he wasn't peeing at all and just couldn't get comfortable. Tuesday morning at 3 a.m., my dog came into my room crying and cuddling into my legs. I felt his abdomen because he kept showing me his belly, and his bladder was SO extremely tight. He was whimpering and miserable. I knew something was extremely wrong.I called WVRC in waukesha, and they said it would be a 2-3 hour wait and to call their sister clinic in grafton. So, I called grafton, who also said 2-3 hours. I opted to wait until 8 am. and call his primary, which turned out to be closed. I called WVRC again, and they gave me some suggestions on emergency vets. I called 2 places and was turned away, unfortunately.I then called Westown and told them what was going on, and they gave me a 9:15 am appointment immediately. We arrived early and they took us to a room.The tech talked with us and let us know what she was doing and why every step of the way. The doctor came in and started to check him over, but when she felt his bladder, he yelped in pain.Everything was like a whirlwind after that. They whisked him away for xrays that showed a big stone blocking his bladder off. They told me my options and gave me an estimate. I signed off on the surgery, and he went in to have it done. I did have to call for updates as I know they're busy, and I appreciate the work they're doing, so that didn't bother me.My dog was very near death, and I was scared out of my mind. I had a panic attack in the exam room, but everyone was very understanding and helpful.They wanted to monitor him as his surgery was very invasive, so I didn't get to take him home until 3 pm. Wednesday afternoon.They sent me home with meds, a blanket, a cone, two adorable jerseys, and lots of the prescription food he'll be on from now on.They worked with me on the bill and were just amazing. I can't say enough good things about this veterinarian office.For those who have posted bad reviews solely based on the prices, shame on you. These people do a very hard job and they're very good at it. If it wasn't for this clinic my dog may have died.Thank you Westown Vet.”
