“Kelly and the front desk team here are simply the best. I have two senior animals, a dog and a cat, who are sadly starting to have some age-related medical issues after many very healthy years. I know veterinary clinics are always busy, but Kelly and the team never rush me or make me feel like an inconvenience, as other clinics sometimes have in the past. My dog is currently having some dental problems and is considered higher-risk for anesthesia, so Dr. Steve referred me to a specialty veterinary dentist. The specialist later requested photos, which I tried my best but getting clear pictures of those molars way in the back isn’t easy, especially when your pup is in pain. :( I called SFAH to see if they could help, and thankfully they had a vet tech, Jen, available to help me get good photos to send to the specialist. Jen is WONDERFUL, so compassionate, gentle and patient. I’m incredibly grateful that she took the time to help me get the photos we needed and made a stressful situation easier. This clinic has excellent doctors as well, but it’s the support staff, techs and front desk team who truly make SFAH stand out from every other veterinary clinic I’ve experienced throughout 20+ years of being a pet mom. The kindness and care they show both animals and their people really makes a difference.”

“I love the doctor and her team here! Everyone is so nice and calm to where even my ferret was calm and not freaking out. I was recommended of off one of Wisconsin Ferret Facebook groups and was worried they would have a doctor with broad knowledge. But the doctor here had so much information and experience working with ferrets. Abba and I had the best time. They did so amazing with her that she accepted a nail trim and barely squirmed around. I am a 100% making this Abbas permanent vet they are everything I can ask for and more in an exotic vet.”

“Dr. Sherer is fantastic! I highly recommend them. Cat care in general is not cheap, so don’t go in expecting to spend $100 one time and never worry about your cat again. Dr. Sherer went above and beyond to inform me everything about my cat’s teeth extraction and cleaning. They called in advance for optional procedures and outlined every step of the process. I’m very grateful for their expertise and they are well worth the money.”

“I have nothing but positive things to say about truly everything regarding Community Vet Clinic. I've been taking my cat Maru there for just about 7 years and can't imagine taking her anywhere else. Everyone from the reception desk, the vet techs, and to the veterinarians themselves are incredibly warm and passionate about what they do and providing the best care to your pets. In addition to the standard check-ups for our cat Maru with Dr. Flynn who is incredible, we've also been on a journey with the team at Community Vet when we took Maru in to examine a lump on her belly and after getting the lump tested, found out that it was cancer. Community Vet and especially Dr. Swartz, who has been our primary vet during Maru's cancer journey have been nothing short of outstanding. There's nothing good about cancer, it's truly horrific, but I couldn't imagine navigating all of this without Dr. Swartz and the rest of the folks at Community Vet. Maru's battle against cancer is still ongoing and how we've been embraced by everyone and shown such a deep level of care and empathy have made us lifelong fans and patrons of Community Vet. Whether you take your pets in just for a routine exam or something more serious, you'll be in amazing hands. Thank you to everyone at Community Veterinary Clinic. I have four dogs and I immediately pull all four from that clinic. A friend refer me to West Allis Animal Hospital and for the last six years that were all my dogs go. Their staff is friendly from the Animal Tech to the Doctors. Excellent Care!”

“My baby coffee was in extreme pain because of his declining dental issues and had developed a lymph node unbeknownst to me, called the vet exactly at 8AM when they opened. They were very kind and understanding over the phone and answered all my follow-up questions and got me appointment for the very next hour, SAME DAY, he was diagnosed and sent home with meds to help the same day as well, they even offered free nail trimming, I absolutely love how they talked to me about pricing and made sure I paid the lowest cost possible but still got my pet the best care, they are very kind, professional and compassionate even though my pet was aggressive (likely from being in pain) and he even relaxed after awhile, I’m beyond grateful for having such a great experience here.”

“I came to Norwood with my dog who previously did not so good at her last vet. I was super nervous for the appointment thinking it was going to turn into a full sedation visit. Our tech, Abby, did fantastic with her. Let her warm up to her, and gave her many treats to get her love lol. Dr Ben came in, and did the same. I was blown away with how the exam went. Dr Ben was able to get a full exam done, answer all my questions, and give great advice. My kiddo did great. I left having a better understanding of everything, and comfortable with the course of treatment we decided with her allergies. Their clinic is decently priced, and they also offer texting services which is an added bonus! Will definitely be returning with my kiddo!”
