Drumming Woods B & B is a quiet and peaceful place to stay in the Cable area, perfect for unplugging from daily life. The hosts are very friendly, kind, comforting, and super sweet, providing an amazing experience. The atmosphere of the beautiful home is very cozy, with all rooms having a certain charm; some are a bit cozier than others. Some accommodations, like The Nest, are separate from the main house. It is a great place for various outdoor activities. It is located close to the Birkiebeiner start line, about a 10-15 minute walk or a 5-10 minute ski with enough snow. You can practically ski out the front door with sufficient snow. There is a snowmobile trail out the back door, and nearby activities include cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and hiking on trails. The area is pretty safe, though one should watch for wildlife. The food and drinks served by the host couple are phenomenal, amazing, and great, with home-cooked meals that are a treat. The setting is in the middle of the woods, so the wifi can sometimes be iffy. The home also features areas to lay around or play games and a super cute dog who loves to cuddle. Guests consistently state they would not hesitate to stay again, would definitely come back, and would love to return.
Was here for a Nordic trip with my team and it was an amazing experience. Jerry and Jan were not only amazing to talk but also just being around them was great. The food was also one of the best parts especially after skiing for hours and coming back to an amazing home cooked meal. I would love to come back.

We stayed at the Nest unit for a weekend and had a great time. It was very cold outside and stayed nice and toasty inside. They are pet friendly and our dog had a great time exploring the area. The best part is that it's about half a mile from the Birkie trailhead. We were on the trail in record time!
