“My partner and I planned a weekend getaway to enjoy eachother and explore the quiet town of Chetek. After never having been before, we were quite impressed with the charm of the little town. The warmth that we felt was in large part due to our experience at CJs art studio. Both she and her partner are very talented. It was easy to get lost admiring their work. We had so many questions and perhaps the best part was that our curiosity was welcomed and they shared with us what felt like very personal details behind each of their pieces. It was refreshing to see two people having a lot of fun with the work they do. We do not have any children but the studio was as inviting for young ones as it was for us. Plenty of interactive pieces of art. Although this town is more active in the summer time, we would recommend going when things are more laid back as you will have the opportunity to meet these two brilliant artists !”
