About Canoe Bay
Canoe Bay is a remote, upscale resort and beautiful romantic getaway in the Wisconsin north woods, surrounded by God’s beautiful creation and nature. It is a quiet sanctuary and amazing retreat, perfect for a special occasion to unwind. Guests love the privacy of the cabins and cottages, the beautiful scenery, private lake, gardens, and good hiking trails. The food is amazing, fabulous, fanciful, and filling, with an on-site restaurant using produce from the organic garden. There is a great wine selection and beer available, and the on-site lodge features a library. The staff are always very kind and super helpful. It is a top-notch, memorable, and highly recommended place.
We love this peaceful retreat! We enjoy celebrating our anniversary here, and the staff members make our stay magical each time. It's hard to find a place these days that's so quiet, serene, and luxurious. Truly a hidden gem!

Absolutely wonderful! The cleanest cabin (or hotel room for that matter!) that I’ve ever stayed in! So tranquil and beautiful. It’s very quiet & serene!
