Bought $1000 worth of stuff that was supposed to be delivered. never got any status update about it being delayed. So I called the day it was supposed to here and the lady was rude and said she’s wouldn’t fill my order. Literally 4 items by the way. It’s not like ace hardware builds them themselves, they have the easy job and can’t even manage that.So I took my money and spent it at HOME DEPOT, low and behold I got my stuff WOW AMAZING. So thanks ACE for being incompetent and leading me to your competition where I ended up with better deals anyways. 👋

This is THE place to go when you need something and need personalized service! I bought a battery propelled lawnmower and weed trimmer. It was all put together for me. They showed me how to operate everything, loaded it in my car. They even took my phone call when I got home and helped me over the phone. That's why I bought local!! Thank you for your help and assistance.

Staff is friendly and helpful. It is nice to have a local hardware store. Especially Ace because of some of the name brand products they carry.

I was buying a glue gun and buying extra glue. They ran out of small glue sticks so I also bought a gun that used large glue sticks as well. The employee to me right to them.

Nothing bad customer service related.
I understand prices are inflated the past 4 years needing to pay they're employees and Columbus is definitely pricier to do business in than other areas. But the prices here are marked up $$$.

Went in on Saturday 5/25 to return an item I placed online for pick up at a different Ace. As I presented the employee with the receipt and my item, he proceeded to tell me it wasn’t a receipt and had no idea what it was.He brought what I think was his manager over, and he told me he had no idea how to do returns placed online. I told him it was placed online for store pick up at a different Ace. He told me I couldn’t return the item to to a different Ace. I told him I’ve bought items from this Ace and returned them to different Ace’s, no problem.I then asked both employees, “so Ace, really isn’t Ace?”. And they both told me “no”. They didn’t even attempt to try to let me return my item bought from Ace, with receipt in hand.I don’t know what kind of clowns work at the Columbus Ace, but if that’s what they like to hire, then I’d like to work there as well because that’s about as easy as easy money can get for an employee. Do nothing, not know anything, and not care about their customers.
