Weird and fun selection of yarn and tools. Most shops have limited their tool selection so much in the passed years. Susan's is huge.I love her enthusiastic nature and happiness at sharing her craft. The prices are also very reasonable.

Can't say enough how amazing Susan is! I just purchased a gorgeous Kromsky minstrel spinning wheel, and she took the time to show me how to use it and even let me try out other wheels to make sure I was getting the right one for my needs. Susan is super knowledgeable about all things fiber and incredibly patient. Definitely worth the drive out there!!

Nice shop out in the country. You can see the sheep right out the back windows. Great selection of Berroco yarns!

I purchased a beautiful wooden Knitter’s Pride ball winder from Susan at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. One day it stopped winding properly. I contacted Knitter’s Pride and was insulted by their impersonal customer service. I called Susan thinking she might know how to help. She gave me some advice about what to try, and after following her directions, it works like it should. Susan did a couple of things which really impressed me: she told me not to worry that she would make it right if we couldn’t get it fixed, and she called me a few days later, after I sent her a photo of what the winder was doing, to troubleshoot with me. I live in the east and she is in Wisconsin, but she sincerely wanted to help. Her guidance and direction fixed it. She is a kind person with a huge heart and a desire to help people have what they want. She has many things that can’t be found elsewhere, and her customer service is outstanding. A corporation like Knitters Pride won’t give that kind of service. Bravo! Thank you!

Stopped in with an old spinning wheel purchased at an antiques store. Super helpful and a wealth of knowledge. This was our first time in and we were lucky enough to be there during a monthly gathering so we got great insight and tips from many experienced spinners. Lots of beautiful yarns and supplies. Will definitely be back!

I love this place but beware, you'll leave wanting a flock of sheep! So much product and such great conversations with the friendly owner. I always end up here for a fix after being disappointed at other shops. Last time I was there, I also was able to purchase beautiful fibers from a trunk show featuring Knitz and Pearls. She was very kind as well.

I drove almost an hour to check out this highly rated store. Business hours said 11 to 3 I showed up at 11:20 however nobody was there. No explanation as to why it was not open. That would be a courtious gesture. Very disappointed and would recommend a phone call to make sure business was open.
