“I was somewhere between 'sad' and 'laughing' when I read the review the mentions the 'burly pharmacist.' I know who they are referring to and will share that he is one of the most receptive, kind, and caring pharmacists you could meet. He is not a bubbly or chatty person, but he is the real deal. When I was caring for my dying mother, and managing the overwhelming amount of medications needed to help her through the hospice journey, that pharmacy team was right there to help us through it. They made sure to ask about the well being of my father each time, they made the connection with other members of my family as well - and were sure to offer support to everyone. Now, as I find myself caring for my elderly father, they have been invaluable - they have talked me through vaccinations and medications, they know him by name and take the time to talk to him, knowing that it's a big deal for him to get out of the house and interact. Everyone at this location has been amazing. If it were close to my house, I would move all of my prescriptions to CVS solely because of this team.”
“If you have a question or issue you can CALL, visit or email them and they will actually resolve it. No sending you elsewhere or getting someone who can't help you. Actual service!”

“I didn't get this pharmacist's name, but the visit I had yesterday evening (2/13) in Monona was phenomenal. She/they went above & beyond to help me navigate getting my RX that wasn't covered by insurance at an affordable rate. I was discouraged prior because no one else seemed to want to help me. “Hometown has great service! I switched from Grand Ave Walgreens because I would run out of meds, even tho I gave them 4-5 days notice. At Hometown, my meds are always ready within 24 hours after I call. And Jason, the pharmacist, sets your refills to at least 7-10 days before you need the med.”

“I just switched over to Walmart from Walgreens. Getting scripts at Walgreens was such an ordeal the long lines and wait time was ridiculous. I walked into Walmart pick up my scripts and left all with in a few minutes, that would have taken me 30 minutes to get them from Walgreens.”
“I've gone here (24hr Walgreens @ hwy 51&151-E.Wash) on and off 4many years. As with most Walgreens I've had mixed experiences. I've had BIG problems w/ Northport dr. Walgreens Pharmacy & Pharmacists- no meds in stock, mis-infirmation- from pharmacists & a crappy attitude numerous # from _ _ _ _ an older white haired male pharmacist. This particular evening ,It was getting urgent, I'd waited ALL day for insulin @ N port.- Who didn't even tell me my doctors never called - & I TOLD them- I was OUT that a m.- Here they'd only given me 3pens- @previous visit- not 5!!- (They took 2out w/o telling me.) SO -Even though I was on hold for 48+min.(why only 4stars - not 5.) - when they did finally answer , they-(E.Wash crew) IMMEDIATELY took care of it ~ grateful 4the fast response- They told me I could p/u my insulin pens in 1 1/2hrs.~ Pretty good considering it was almost 9:00p.m. ( I was afraid I'd have 2go 2an Urgent Care- OR emergency room..) Thank you 24hr Walgreens. *LATER NOTE - This Walgreens isn't 24hrs anymore .”

“I have been a client of Womens International pharmacy for 25 years. The personal service, efficiency of delivery and the cost are all exceptional.
When I needed answers the question, there was always a patient knowledgeable nurse available to speak with.
I have always been grateful that my endocrinologist sent me to them.
I have just read a series of negative reviews from recent experiences with customer service. This has not been my experience, and I had a few interactions in the last six months. They were very informative. But if they just merged with a bigger company who knows what the settling in is.”
