We enrolled and put a deposit down for daycare last fall for this spring, with the understanding that our spot would be held and space was available due to a new infant room being opened. It was confirmed that we were all set to go on our end. However, when I reached out a few weeks before we were to begin to confirm my sons start date, we were told that they did not have enough staff to cover my son starting. I was told they would reach out to other KinderCares to see if a different location could squeeze us in, only to not hear back for 5 days, despite leaving multiple voicemails. Atthis point we were only 1 week out from our start date, so I called the center and found out the woman I had been communicating with had quit the day I first talked with her to confirm when we would start. On top of that, the center somehow had no idea we were even supposed to start in a week, and apparently we were not the only family this happened to. They did not have space for us at any location, and thus we did not have care for my son 1 week before I was to return back to work. As a first time mom already stressed about my son going to daycare at a place I thought I could trust and had chosen, this was incredibly stressful. I am blown away at the poor management and disorganization of this center. I was originally really looking forward to this place, but now I don’t even want to give it this 1 star.

Our kid has been there over a year now. KinderCare often has staffing issues and 2-3 times per week they ask parents to keep kids at home because they don’t have enough staff. It’s a poorly managed facility and the the childcare is unreliable. Parents often have to compete to get kids there before they reach capacity or they won’t accept your child for the day. The staff turnover rate is horrible. I wonder if staff stick around for such a short period because the leadership is nonexistent.

My sons first week at KinderCare has been amazing! I really appreciate all of the updates I get on the ap during the day. The staff are so friendly and answer all of my (many) questions. As a first time mom putting her son in childcare during the pandemic, I've definitely felt anxious. My son is already gaining really good skills from being at KinderCare and its only been a week! I am very happy with his progress and am excited to see him continue to grow and learn. He's trying new foods, getting good sleep, and learning new things! I would recommend this facility to any parent.

My son started here just before turning 1 year old after being home for a few months during the pandemic and we are so impressed with the staff here! We were obviously nervous about our son starting daycare up again both because of the health crisis as well as the fact that after being home for a few months, it was a bit like starting over with daycare. Windsor Avenue KinderCare takes all the necessary health precautions that made us feel very comfortable and confident and our son made his transition back to daycare with no problems whatsoever. The staff here listened to all of our concerns and questions and have been awesome for our son! We know he is in great hands with the care and attention paid by the people here. Plus, they keep us updated with notes and pictures all day long and we love that! Highly recommend this KinderCare location - we have a happy, healthy kid who loves going to 'school' every day which is all working parents can ask for!

Being a new mom, especially during a pandemic, it was pretty scary to drop off my 3 month old to her first daycare. I have had nothing but positive experiences here with the staff. They are patient, kind and helpful during this limbo phase where I’m trying to get baby on a good schedule. The app gives me peace of mind that she’s eating, sleeping and going potty when she needs to. The pictures of her playing throughout the day aren’t bad either :) Thank you to the staff for making this such a great experience for my family and I.

Kindercare is our home away from home for our little girl! She looks forward to going to “school” everyday and always comes home smiling with new things to chat about. We cannot express enough love and appreciation for our kindercare family! Thank you for being such an awesome and enriching experience!

My boys absolutely love coming here!I have an infant and I always catch him giggling in the infant room. All the teachers do a great job with him! I am very grateful for them as they have helped me ween him from breastfeeding. They also do a great job of pointing out milestones as my son develops! My 3 year old will run in and look for his teachers to say good morning. When I pick him up he is usually all sweaty (he loves to run around) and ready to go home. He makes sure to hug everyone and say goodbye!

We recently enrolled our 1 year old at the Cottage Grove location and LOVE it! He has so much fun and we appreciate the updates and pictures we receive throughout the day letting us know what he's up to. I love that he has access to the outdoor play area, the splash pad, and the gym...all in addition to his normal classroom! The interaction we've had with the staff and caregivers has been excellent, they provide wonderful care!

2 weeks in and I know my baby boy is in really good hands. I love the hi momma app that keeps me updated and allows me to get photos the teachers share throughout the day. Highly recommend for child care!
