Love this store. Always have summer projects at our cabin and find everything here with the help of knowledgeable and friendly staff. Also have a great selection of bird feeders and seed. Ace stores still feel like the old fashioned hardware stores I went to with my dad.

Great service. Ordered a soil aerator online and when it arrived in the box they put it together for me at no additional cost. Ace is definitely an improvement from the old True Value brand with more inventory and prices that beat or are comparable to the bigger box stores in Rhinelander.
I always check Conway's first before going anywhere else.

Conways ACE Hardware has everything you need from gardening supplies, grills for the best cookouts, home supplies, paints & painting supplies, etc… the workers there are very helpful and kind! Truly a business of the community!

Yes the prices are a bit higher then the box stores.
But its not such a long drive. Plus My time and fuel to go someplace else, i would burned up the savings costs in driving someplace else.
The quality of the products as good as well. To the guy who left the review on the propane. Its actually a better deal to have the tanks filled. box stores are only filled partway. Conway's fills them full.

Arrives at 1230 looking for some pvc fittings
They were very condescending
Seem upset I was even there
Basicly chased me out the door
Because they closed at 1 pm I checked
out at 102pm
Guys name bothering me was dave

You might want to have the Sheriff's come with you to go shopping. They have all new people working there. BEWARE if you ask a question. The guy that I was talking to about shipping a package went off the deep end, all because I wanted to know how much it would cost to ship. We don't give estimates...To me, J Crist, what do you think this is? Figured it out yourself.Get the F out now. Take your F ing package to the F ing post office. Get the F out of here...Then, he gets within a couple of inches from my face and keeps yelling. The hole time shoving his fat belly into me...I was ready to call the police because what he did by bumping into me is assault... I will be following up with the owners...

When staff offer to help, they will help you get what you need, make sure you have your project questions answered, and load heavy items in the vehicle for you.Conway True Value is a family owned store in Pioneer Plaza at the edge of Crandon off hwy 8. They offer a rental service for tools and equipment, garden and plant section, plumbing supplies, and general merchandise.
