Dollar Generals never cease to amaze me. They have everything in such a small space! The employees are sweet and the store is clean! Grab a few groceries and anything you could possibly need in one ((reasonably priced)) stop.

Hello im new around the area! Yesterday while shopping I asked one of the workers if the bosses were allowing them to close early today due too the nasty brutal storm we we're having, as most businesses in town were closing early for their employees safety. They said unfortunately not and they said nothing more about the question and changed the subject very politely. After leaving I couldn't help but feel very sorry for these individuals who are being forced too stay during such horrible conditions. It's just a little embarrassing as a company and as a boss too act such a way.. the staff is very polite! I would hate too hear someone was hurt driving home. Very bad look for the community! Shame on the boss and management!! When I woke up today I found out how truely horrible the storm ended up being, and I HAD too write this review. Dollar general must have 0 humanity!

Typical dollar general. What's not typical is the hag behind the counter. Their are ways to talk to people and ways not to. This discourteous woman makes the dollar store down the road the place to go.

Honest employees!! My wallet fell out of my pocket and they found it and held it for me until I could pick it up. There are still good people in this world.

Wasn't the worse place Ive been but there is a younger woman behind the counter with scabs all over. I watched her pick a bloody scab off of the back of her hand, fidget with it to get it unstuck from her fingers and then try to touch my purchases. So gross ? make sure you use hand sanitizer immediately after shopping here

NEW Dollar General WARNING on HIGHWAY X CRIVITZ WI....FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE! This new Dollar General is horribly mis-managed and unorganized. I understand help is hard to find help right now, but this experience was absolutely terrible! Boxes everywhere and empty, cluttered shelves. Had to roll large carts of product out of the way several times to shop. No staff visible on the floor to help with questions. Had to go through a maze of boxes to locate a cashier, who I could overhear in a back room complaining loudly with the manager about an email from corporate regarding what to do with product boxes, etc. that made "no sense" to them.
I had a problem with the cashier ringing up a product I told her I wanted to return. (It was the wrong product.) She told me she would have to get the key in the back to do that, but just stood there. She made it appear like a big imposition, so I finally said that's fine, I'll buy it then if that's easier, but it is buy one get one free. Asked if I could get the second free product. She said she couldn't do that and began arguing that she would have to redo the entire order. I could not understand her explanation so, I said I didn't think she understood my concern, in which she replied sarcastically, that she does. I told her I didn't like the sarcastic tone and did not wish to argue. I asked for the manager to help clear up and deescalate the issue. The cashier then retorted, very sarcastically, with a weird grin on her face, "...Be my guest!", pointing to the manager, who then walked over.
Without ever asking me about my concerns, the manager, Dana, immediately ESCALATED the situation by addressing me in a loud and rude voice. She was condescending and uncaring about my concern. I had the distinct impression they were either friends or relatives. Dana claimed she heard everything (but was assisting other customers as this situation unfolded.) Dana then scolded me saying "...you will not talk to the cashier like this..." (my saying the cashier was being sarcastic and argumentative towards me, which she definitely was.) Without any explanation or problem solving whatsoever,
manager Dana immediately informed me she will not allow me to have my purchases! I told her I already paid the cashier for my purchase.
(Everything was bagged) Dana snapped back " it doesn't matter", I have the "power to refuse it!" This was not a small purchase.
What a terrible first impression of a new Dollar General store in the community!
***Crivitz businesses and restaurants are always top notch! So this extremly poor management and customer service is an exception.***
Needless to say, we will NEVER shop at this frightening Dollar General on Hwy X again. Our support and money will go to businesses that appreciate their customers and treat them respectfully.
THIS NEW DOLLAR GENERAL IS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE EVER HAD!!

Has literally everything and very cheap snacks, the art section has everything you can think of but is limited on paint colors but that's understandable since it's alot smaller than Walmart, there's always deals on energy drinks and snapple, no complaints.

The best Dollar General I’ve been too. Clean, something for everyone, even food not just snacks. I was looking for a specific item and the staff member was very helpful, even helped me locate the item at another store and possibilities when more would arrive. Top notch service. Keep it up.

Management is rude. They have no respect or understanding for the other systems that work to keep their store stocked and in operation. They walk around the store with an attitude.

The manager or shift supervisor appears not to want to help less experienced staff learn or do their job well. Raised her voice and was extremely rude when a mistake was made by her staff. Need to be re-trained on customer service and transactions for ALL services offered by this facility
