This store has employees that are under trained and do not know how to process transactions that include deposits. For example, when you purchase propane fuel here there are two prices. One for ~$59 if you do not have a bottle deposit for exchange. The second and more common sale is for ~$22 when you have a bottle deposit for exchange.I wanted to return a deposit bottle without buying a full bottle of fuel. The clerks had no idea of how to return my deposit for an empty bottle.I would suggest not buying propane fuel here if you ever want to get your $37 bottle deposit back.

I absolutely love Tena who works up front...she's the only reason I still come here. Tena deserves 5 stars but the pharmacy is terrible. I'm talking about crossplains walgreens

This is just for the pharmacy I went to get a booster since I was in a study and it's been 10 months since I've been vaccinated. This is after I called the day before and cleared it. These two woman didn't even want to look at my card to see if it was real they said no and I was there a total of 1 min. #keepingpeoplesafe

Walgreens in Cross Plains is horrible. I went there with my daughter so she could pick up her prescription for her addiction that was called in by her doctor on Friday. We went on Saturday to pick it up. They could not find it and denied they had received it. My daughter had tried to get it switched to McFarland because Cross Plains had messed this up before several times . They were very unhelpful and we felt there was a prejudice involved. My daughter then called her doc

We drove 35 minutes for my 17-year old son to get his first scheduled appointment for the COVID-19 vaccine. Once we arrived for your appointment we were told the store only had the Moderna vaccine and they wouldn't be able to administer the vaccine to my son because it is not yet approved for kids younger than 18 years of age, which I was aware of but assumed if the location didn't offer a viable option they wouldn't allow for online scheduling appointments for kids under 18. Pharmacy tech offered no solution (she even said it's happened at their location several times now) even though she said the other Walgreens location down the street has the Pfizer vaccine but they didn't bother trying to call them to see if he could get in at that location (we would have waited if necessary). A reasonable suggestion for pharmacy staff is when the daily list of scheduled appointments is printed the night before or morning of to CALL anyone on the list that is under the age of 18 to notify them in advance so they don't bother wasting their time traveling. There were no other customers in the pharmacy area during that time so it wasn't like they were too busy either. What a waste of time and poor customer service!

Always received excellent service at this store. Professional and concerned employees. My favorite Walgreen's in Madison by far.

I called 3 minutes before close to ask if they could possibly stay open 5 minutes late so I could pick up something for a suddenly sick child, and they did. Very much appreciated.

A typical Walgreens with drive thru pharmacy. Always clean and bright and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. They do have a small selection of adult beverages at this location, but it's not a great variety. We get all of our pharmacy items here and we have never once had any issues. We can refill our prescriptions over the phone and the are typically ready within a few hours.

Asked a manager Tyler for help and he didn't seem to care. If he hates his job so much, he should leave. Very poor experience and blemishes Walgreens reputation.
