It's all good my first unit had alot of glue on the floor that is very sticky...but I was able to move to a bigger unit as soon as it came available there has been issues with the gate being stuck open or not letting me get in but was corrected in my opinion in a satisfactory manner..if you need storage space I have no issues that this facility is managing well.its expensive but I think that is what keeps you're things safe.people I've met have been a good experience they want there stuff secure also.

Getting my storage unit was the easiest thing I’ve done all year! We needed a space for a few months and setup was a breeze. Getting in and out of the storage yard was really simple too, just a little passcode at the gate and they supply your unit lock/key at the start of your service. Reps do regular walkthroughs to make sure everything is safe and still locked up. So much so that when we moved out of unit they noticed before I even called to alert them – they called me! Cancelling my service was just as easy as setup. If I ever need another unit I’ll be sure to rent from them!

They had me pay for the unit before they went over all their rules and guidelines. They had me pay their team over the phone and then go in to sign. I tired to cancel it since I was unable to store my late fathers hunting stuff according to the lease and they would not refund me. Just seemed very shady to take payment first and not refund anything when I didn't use the unit at all.

I was walking by the Cudahy location and there was a woman pulling a ton of weeds out of a garden bed. I stopped and helped her pull some of the weeds while talking to her. I believe she said her name was Shannon. She was very polite and although it was hot out and the sun was hot, she did not complain about the daunting task that she was doing. We had a pleasant conversation and we talked about storage pricing since I may need a unit in the future during a house remodel. Her pleasant attitude and kindness while talking to her has definitely made me decide to rent a unit from her when I am ready for the remodeling to start.

I have enjoyed my storage lockers with SROA for almost a year now and haven't had a complaint. Between me and my wife we've had from 3 to 7 lockers at one time and SROA have met all our needs the entire time. Our location manager, Shannon has been a great help to us and is very knowledgeable in what it takes to meet our needs. I will continue to keep a locker with SROA through my foreseeable future. Thanks SROA!

haven't set foot on location, so can't attest to the brick and mortar. But I can say that the customer service was attentive and informative, and they helped me remotely rent a unit with ease. I would rent from them again

We live in a condo with limited storage space, so when we were expecting our first child I searched for a small 5x5 storage unit to make space for the Nursery.The location off 794 South was ideal because it was close to where we both work. I went online and signed up for $30/month with an initial sign up fee. I waived the $15 insurance because we weren't putting anything of significant value in the storage.Within the first 45 days, I experienced several frustrating interactions with SROA. When our first bill came, it included $15 for insurance. When I called to discuss, I was patched through to the corporate office, who said there was nothing they could do and I needed to speak to the local property manager, which is at a satellite location not near the storage location. I left several voicemails only to receive an email that I needed to prove I had personal property coverage of my belongings.The following week our rate from $30 to $38 without notice. After emailing my disagreement with the 20+% increase they responded that my rate was promotional (despite it only lasting two billing cycles).Fast forward a couple of months to January 2022, I attempted to enter the site before work around 730am. The keypad was frozen and I couldn't enter, so I called customer service. They said they couldn't help me, but would relay the message to the local office when they open around 9am. Frustrating that everything goes to Corp, but then relayed to a local office that is impossible to get in touch with. Two months later, our rate was increased again from $38 to $45 a month for a small 5x5 storage unit.The lack of customer service, responsibility and transparency coupled with a 50% rate increase in less than 6 months results in extreme customer dissatisfaction and resentment. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for your storage needs.
