I understand this is not necessarily anyone's fault... However, I checked with Google to see what time they were open until and drove here and they were closed. Google said they were open until 9:00 The sign on the door said they had to close at 6:30. I was here at 7:30.

Looking at previous reviews it appears Dollar General corporate does not care about this location. It is still a mess:
1) carts with product parked in many of the aisles.
2) carts with flattened cardboard parked in many of the aisles.
3) product on the floor that should be up on the shelves.
4) several carts loaded with product parked up near the check out area.
5) handwritten sign on front door saying closing time is 4:30. When I asked the cashier about it, she said some days they don't have enough employees!!
I have only stopped in this store 2 times, and will only go in if I am absolutely desperate.
Corporate, take note and do better.

I was there tonight at 6:40 pm 11/14/2024 I pay with 100$ cus I didn’t have any change to pay my amount of 22,83 I want to think she was upset because I pay with a hundred dollar bill and not because she is racist because I am Latina. Well she give me my change back but there was a 50$ bill ripped and looks like was burnt out I ask her gently if she can change it she tell me she don’t have more 50$ dollar bills so I ask her for 20’s then I give her all the money back and the she was upset and trow me my change and my change wasn’t complete she miss 20$ I ask her my change is 70 something cus I pay u with 100$ she had that ugly attitude so unprofessional I hope that doesn’t have to be with racism

I only go in this place as a last minute or last resort. The place is always cluttered. There's almost never anyone up front. A recent visit had a register not functioning, then the other so they had to close. DG needs to get their act together and stop being so cheap. Update equipment and hire more people!

Always stuff everywhere but on the shelves. They are so slow at putting things away and seems like management doesn't care to help or they dont have the staffing. Can't barely walk up and down the aisles.

Darlington Dollar general needs to get their act together you cannot go down any aisle because there's too many U-boats and rotainers you cannot fit carts down there which is very inconvenient and very hazardous to customers we're back again and added two pictures to this this is ridiculous like we're sucking our bellies in to get it through some of these alleys almost can't tell what's on half of these shelves I ran into one of the carts that something sticking out and just ran my arm into it updating my review again at the store today and almost tripped on a few boxes and cans that are on the floor hard to see them almost all right on my face
