Had a really nice experience on St. Patrick's Day. The food, service, and ambiance were good. We all had corned beef and enjoyed it. The live music was enjoyable. Cute decorations. It's fun to see an old building full of life.

I'll start by saying I have long been a dining customer and an advocate of the Union Hotel and have never had a bad experience; until tonight. The bar service was exemplary, as was the food, and our server Olivia was exceptional. The issue was being seated in a small room with a 14 top that was, to say the least, obnoxious. I won't belabor the point beyond saying it was surprising that the host would not have thought this through before sitting us. I want to give credit to the entire staff for recognizing the error in judgment and made amends by comping our bar tab and one of the entrees as compensation for their oversight. We will definitely go back largely, understanding this was only one of many dining experiences and to date they've all been positive and furthermore the staff at the Union Hotel has always been professional and accountable in every way. One bad night does not echo their approach to customer service and my fiance and I want to say thank you to everyone involved, especially our server Olivia, for doing what they could to make a wrong right. Much appreciated.

We had a group of 6 for dinner. The foodvwas superb! The waitress was very attentative. Our group had our own room. It was a wonderful dining experience!

We did not have a reservation and they took care of us in a timely fashion. Our waitress was Alyssa and she was so accommodating with any and all requests! There is a bread plate and it was quite tasty. I had the steak and lobster and it was delicious!Walkability: Very short walk from parking area to doorFood & drinks: Drinks were made perfectly, old fashioneds were great!

Nice place, nice service, but really average food. Very supper clubby, basic stuff. Had scallops and tenderloin tips and very underwhelmed by both. It's pleasant and basic. But don't expect fine food.

Parking wasn't easy. Not great for handicapped. But the singing made my Mom smile like an angel. Food was great, service was awesome.

This place is incredible. Exceeded my high expectations from start to finish. The atmosphere was wonderful. Super authentic, classic historic “supper club” feel. Service was excellent. This is a special place. Feels like a dragon I have been chasing for a looong time. May be the best supper club in Wisconsin. The food was right on. Properly cooked, flavorful, tender steaks. Sides, starters and drinks all good. I am hard to please and get around, and I was blown away…thank you staff at the Union. Please stay as you are so I can come back!!

Amazing restaurant with great quality food. Recommend calling ahead to make a reservation. The atmosphere is wonderful and feels like you went back in time. The staff is very friendly and the service is exceptional. We really enjoyed the scallops, the pan fried walleye and the filet. Their homemade cherry pie for dessert was a hit as well. Everything was prepared perfectly. We can wait for our next visit.
