Nice people, maybe new hires or high turnover. Only small complaint is I told him a couple times I was shipping media mail. He made me describe the books in a couple sentences. I told him after i know the rules(?) with a polite tone. He told me after that all of them would be opened up 🤦🏽♂️. So why ask them with so many questions, the policy states only some are opened for inspection. Maybe a biff of words. Good to use media mail, bad to have to explain I know what a book is.

Website for redelivery doesn't work and the mail person won't pickup the redelivery COD payment from our mailbox.

Sent a package back to me that I sent out. I went back in to send it out and had the address verified by recipient and 4 companies that sent multiple letters sent to address that were delivered by USPS and I explained that to the person at the desk. He said he will send it out again. I said thank you and walked to leave. He got snarky with me and said “there’s 8,000 here and that’s one person. Who do you think is wrong? I’d say that one person.” I know from my history in that industry that 8,000 people did not touch that package, and that person has lived there 13 years. How would he not know his address? There was no need for that comment, it was very rude.

Very rude staff. Would not answer my simple questions then got angry with me for asking. Will never return to this location.

The people at the counter are always nice, the mail delivery lady is always nice too! Everything is always on time, only ONE time that ive been here have we not recieved the mail and that was this year when we got attacked with snow! Theres barely any mixed up mail and if it is its never a big deal we just run over to whoever it was meant to and out it in there mail box.

Customer service is terrible @ Deforest! When you call the post office to inquire on a package you often get some guy that talks down to you and acts like he's some big shot and always says "your talking to a seasoned worker here" pretty much yelling at you in a very rude tone...I think maybe this clerk is "too seasoned" and probably needs to retire! If he worked anywhere else he would have been fired long ago. It's no wonder this post office has such a bad reputation!

Package accepted at this location but “pending acceptance” for 2 weeks now. Does anyone work here? Why do I keep using usps. Trash.
