Hard to adopt animals. Associates are rude. They don’t care. They have enclosures for the animals but then say the enclosures are “too small.” Then when I told them I’d order a big one they still refused to sell me the animal because I “have to have an enclosure set up”. Alright? Make up your minds. I can buy your in store enclosure which is meant for the specific animal and adopt the animal today or lose my money. Terrible service. They don’t wanna make money. I’ll keep my money. Also why would you sell tanks that are “too small” if you don’t want people to use them. Just a thought.

I went to Delafield Petco to buy a
Black Moor goldfish for my wife's fish tank,a young lady by the name of Liz was very helpful she had to special ordered the fish for me. She is very knowledgeable on how to properly care for the fish!
I am thankful for her help and expertise!
My wife is happy and the Black Moor is doing well with her Jumbo Fancy goldfish!

I had a horrible experience purchasing a fish today. Liz was very, very rude! Talked down to my children and I, interrogated us, literally told us we were trespassing!!!! I honestly thought this has to be a joke. All around it was a rotten experience. It was supposed to be a fun trip to the pet store. My son was hiding behind me because of the way she yelled at us in front of a line full of people..that we could not purchase a fish, only the supplies? My son picked out a blue beta fish, and was so excited. After having to defend my ability to take care of a fish?… She eventually let us check out, but ended with, “when it dies I want a water sample!” Yikes..I had to ask if I could please have a bag for the supplies. She rudely whipped a bag at me.

The big thing about this Petco, which is NOT their fault, to be fair, is access to their app (or internet) at the store. You literally have to connect to Petco's wifi to be able to possibly use the app. The area is practically in a deadzone, depending on which way the wind is blowing, which is why I gave 4 stars. The associates on the floor can be a little short with their responses, but at the registers, they are pleasant enough. When a product is out of stock, if you can get the app to pull it up at check out, the associate is able to order it for you to be delivered to your home for free. That is really nice and helpful.

When I arrived at the store I was able to quickly get assistance finding the cat tree that I wanted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Thank you to Juliette who went above and beyond helping me In choosing food for my newly and very picky diabetic cat. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I even think she stayed later than her shift to help me.

My family have been ongoing fish buyers for over a year.Every 2 months the tank gets cleaned and we go to the store to buy food,tank cleaner,decorations,and fish. We go in and the lady that is always taking care of fish said "if you keep buying fish we will ban you from getting anymore". We left and have no intention on going back.
