Wow, this place takes the cake for bad business. I went there over the weekend, but before going I informed them of my situation. If you can't do anything fine, let me move on. No, they told me we can work around anything. I was put in a vehicle to test drive. An hour later after being told we can get you approved they came out with the paperwork. I said at this time I don't have much or nothing really for a down payment. Long story short they ended up wanting 2600 down and 600/mo payments and a co-signer. I got nothing but did get a call two days later. Told we can get it done. Drove another hour there to get the EXACT same thing. Left with nothing other than a little passed. You can't do it quit telling people you can and then say no. It really makes someone feel like crap. Oh the text message 15 minutes later asking me to come in was a little bit of a slap in the face.

I can understand having inventory challenges on the web. Things can sell, etc. But reflecting a price that you refuse to honor is dishonest at best. Furthermore, my wife walked in 6-8 minutes after me as she was on the lot. She strolled by seven people and not one greeted her. I am not returning. Not ever.

Where do I start? I went in there with my step-mom because they were calling her nonstop promising her a car. After driving down there from Grayslake IL, we specifically told them we did not want a Ford and were open to ANY OTHER BRAND of vehicle. It was originally supposed to be that I would be cosigning with my step-mom and she would be the primary buyer. After a few hours of waiting, our saleswoman pulls around a car that we were approved for... A 2019 Ford Escape. Exactly what we didn't want! But we were desperate for a reliable car. After driving it off the lot, we noticed things wrong with it right away-- windshield was cracked in multiple spots, and the power window switches didn't work on two of the doors. Furthermore, the registration on the vehicle was COMPLETELY THE WRONG VEHICLE! They had it listed on more than one piece of paperwork that it was a 2019 Acura. But upon glancing at the paperwork, I noticed that the only name on the paperwork was mine! They made me the sole owner of the car and didn't even tell us!!fast forward to when I went back in to the dealership for the windows and the windshield-- They did not properly reattach the drivers door panel back on. it is loose and so is the passenger side. One of the technicians left their tool in my car, and they didn't seal the bottom of the windshield (the plastic part). Also, when they were trying to finance me for the car, they ran my credit TWENTY TIMES!!! TWENTY TIMES!!!In what world is that okay??? I got the car May 15th, 2023, and just received YET ANOTHER letter from a bank that they tried to finance me through on July 13th. In my opinion, I would not set FOOT in this dealership let alone trust them enough with your credit report. They will screw you over.

The folks at Kunes saved our Memorial Day weekend! As we drove away from our house for a three day weekend to visit with relatives across the state, I got a "trunk ajar" warning on my Ford Mustang dashboard. I pulled over to check it. The trunk was actually locked shut. Unable to open. A strap from a suitcase had got caught in the latch and there was no way to open it. When we arrived in Delavan I dropped my wife off at my in-laws and did a search for Ford dealerships. I called the first listing and they said "We're sorry, but we have sent all of our mechanics home for the Memorial Day Weekend. But they'll be back Tuesday." Here I am, 11am on a Saturday, with no way to get to our belongings (or prescriptions) and weekend plans ruined. I tried another listing - Kunes Ford Lincoln. Scott, a manager, answered saying they were open until 3pm. They had techs working on at least 8 different vehicles. I remembered I had heard about this dealership on The Bill Michaels radio show. I mentioned their service center was HUGE. They said it was a new addition and 1 of only 4 in the state with air conditioning. I spent some time looking at some beautiful new models on the showroom floor and waited about 20 minutes in a very nice, new lounge.BAM! Done! They fixed the problem on the jammed trunk door. They moved the suitcase that caused the problem and repacked the overloaded little trunk. And they washed the car! 20 minutes, VERY affordable, total professionals. Kunes has a new customer! I may plan visits to family in Delavan just to get my car serviced there.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! This place has dicked me around since the beginning. First I inquired about a vehicle, and 5 different people started texting and calling me. Then I set up an appointment to come look at the vehicle, and I drive 45 min for them to tell me when I get there, "oh it's in the shop for a timing issue". They tell me it should be done middle of next week. Middle of next week comes and I call and leave voicemail after voicemail. I even send emails and get no response for a week and a half. Then I finally get a responce and they say, "oh it's not done yet but you can come back and look at the car but can't test drive it". So I do that and put money down to hold it. They tell me it will be done by the end of the week. End of the week comes and it still hasn't even been started. Then they tell me end of next week for sure. End of next week comes and still no car. they say middle of next week. so now I've waited a month for this car. Finally, timing is done but now they have to do breaks and control arm. Apparently, this car never got safety inspected before they put it on their lot to sell so, I have to wait till middle of next week. Finally, they finish, and I come in to test drive and I chose to buy the car. Now I'M being told to set up an appointment for free coating I said is that being charged? They say no its free in your contract. So I call to set up appointment and they tell me that I didnt get that package they added a 3k bumper to bumper and gap instead. Which they claim they had to do to get me approved. Ya sure ok if you say so. They also had me sign papers to do a bi-weekly payment instead of one big some. Now im getting papers saying I have one big lump sum due once a month instead of bi-weekly. I keep calling trying to get ahold of them to ask about this, not to mention it took them a few weeks to actually give me a copy of my agreements and the info is different and the bi-weekly paperwork missing. I have left a couple messages now and still no response. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER. CHRISTIAN DEALER MY ASS!

Went to sell my used car, sales person told me that Kelly Blue Book under values cars on the website. Said they could offer more. Brought the car in for an offer. They offered me $1,500. KBB said it was worth $3,500. Sold it for $4,000 on internet. Don't let the Christian music fool you. This place will rip you off every chance they get.

I have had bad experiences with car dealerships before and this experience was the icing on the cake... my fiancee came in to get an oil change and it took well over an hour for it to finish... staff was very inconsiderate never checked in on us... the average oil change should take 30-45 minutes... I have seen some slow oil changes done... but they have helpful and friendly staff... at this location absolutely terrible service never asked any questions the only reason we came here today was because it was "free" and then they start with the annoying oh you need this and that... just want an oil change it honestly felt like we were being held hostage until we agreed to do something else so we picked to do a rotation... if you need an oil change do NOT come here ever waste of time and energy

Went here to check out vehicles (my lease was ending in 3 months). Noticed the inventory of both new and used cars very low (currently the same at every dealership across the country). Sales staff very courteous and efficient. Art P. in Finance was especially helpful in getting me out of my lease early, and getting me a loan, so I could purchase my vehicle. He went above and beyond all of my expectations. Truly a professional. I highly recommend Kunes Country!!

Internet sales for the dealership is less than helpful, and unwilling to work with anyone that's not local.I asked for info on a used car, including a few pucs...and once they found I am not a local, all engagement ended. They walked away from a customer...and a potential sale.
