Can’t say enough great things about Brick House Mercantile. Chef Jeremy, Joe, Penny and the rest of the folks here are always crafting such unique foods, soups and desserts that change constantly. Everyone here is always familiar and friendly. Such a unique place and I feel so lucky it’s local to me. My favorite are the savory breakfasts on Saturdays, but everything here is always fantastic. Keep an eye on their social media for specials!

Just finished the Valentines dinner. It was outstanding. No, fantastic. No, mouth wateringly delicious. Seriously, it was superb. Since a coworker suggested this place a week ago, my wife and I have visited three times (strangely never together) each time we were impressed and very full. Cannot wait to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing. If you have the chance to try anything from there do it!! I love also seeing them at the Oconomowoc farmers market and buying them out of their salted caramel brownies that are to die for!! Had the chance to get their breakfast burger one morning and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever ate in my life, I mean just look at it! Not only is their food amazing but the father & son duo are so friendly and deserve their continued success.

Brickhouse constantly comes up with unique, artisanal menu items. I particularly love their soup but I have never been disappointed by anything that I have gotten there.

This place is spectacular! My friend brought me here once to try and I'm hooked! Food is amazing, staff is amazing and location is amazing! It's a place where I can try new foods that I would never think of trying. If you ever get a chance to sample their foods, consider yourself lucky! And the shrubmosa drinks are my favorite...I seriously can't get enough!

Brickhouse Mercantile is a gem for the Dousman community. They consistently produce unique, delicious food and have excellent service. We have had the pleasure of attending a few of their artisan dinners and have been amazed by the creativity and flavors coming from Chef Jeremy’s kitchen. If I still lived in Dousman I would eat at the Brickhouse multiple times a week. The Bahrs are kind and hospitable people who clearly have a passion for what they do. I regularly drive an hour to come visit and eat at the Brickhouse and I am always blown away by what I’ve been served. The level and quality of food being produced by the Brickhouse exceeds what you would expect from a small town restaurant and is on par with award winning restaurants in places like Milwaukee or Chicago. I highly recommend the Brickhouse Mercantile and would give it 10 stars if I could.

I love stopping in to see what new goodies they have to offer! Everything I've had tastes amazing and the staff is very knowledgeable about their food.Dietary restrictions: I've always been able to find dairy-free things to buy. I had a conversation with one of the staff who also said they would be accommodating of dietary restrictions for their Artisan dinners.

Drove 30 miles to check out this restaurant. They can update their website weekly for menu changes but not for being closed on Wed Dec 27th, a normal business day for them. Instead they stuck a piece of paper on the door saying closed. Very unprofessional.

Brick House Mercantile possess an uniqueness unlike any other restaurant in the Lake Country area. Quaint home-like atmosphere, exceptional farm to table dining, and genuinely pleasant service. Their daily menu may be small but is mighty (tasty)! Definitely a place you'll want to visit more than just once!!!

Fantastic artisan restaurant! Probably the best Saturday morning brunch I’ve ever had in my life! I’d go every weekend if I didn’t live 3 hours away! I took home delicious jams, a tart, and goodies to share with my family! Excellent service! I’ll be back soon! Worth the trip!
