First of all I don't like bashing people. But I do agree the receptionist is very rude. I called about filling my 2 100# tanks. Right away she started telling me they would have to be inspected. I explained that they have the sticker's for the inspections on them and they did not need it. So we know where that was going $$$$. Then she told me I would have to leave them and come back for them possibly the next day. So no heat until tomorrow??? Then they tried to tell me how to haul them there so I did what they asked. DANGEROUS! So then I I thought well since they deliver I would have them deliver it and just pay a little more. WRONG! Then we went into a whole nother spiral downward. They wanted them connected by a copper line and tied into the house. We have a flexible hose with a government approved regulator. She said that wasn't good enough. So now we pay a little more but we get our propane from Blifferts lumber in Waukesha. And you know what good came out of this after all. They are awesome ? there always a smile and courteous to their customer's. I believe if that lady at Dousman LP doesn't like her job she should go be a greeter at Walmart.Thank you for listening to my rant.

We have been customers with Dousman Gas for over 10 years and will continue for many more. Very reliable, professional, nice, punctual, and competitively priced! I work as a nurse and need a company like Dousman Gas to be in my corner with my busy schedule.

Dousman Gas was extremely unreliable. First, they just didn't show up on the day they said they would. Then, when I called, they said that they would tell us the new date. They never did. One of their guys just came out eventually and put in the propane tank unannounced. We showed up to a propane tank right in our front lawn. (They'd also said that they would consult us as to where it should go. Nope. Right in front of the house.) Then, we received a bill for substantially more than we were told we'd pay.When I called about the bill, the receptionist was extremely rude, and I kid you not, even yelled to me through the phone that since we're converting to We Energies gas in the future, why should their company care what we think. Un. Real. I cannot imagine ever trusting a business like that. And as other reviews have clearly stated, they haven't been reliable with their regular customers either.Very sad. It's one thing to have unreliable business practices. But to lack basic human decency... that takes it to a new level.

Very inconsiderate people. They run a business like authoritarians,what they decide is it. Recently had my proppane an pulled because I did not buy enough fuel, even though I paid yearly tank rent . He offered to put in 100lb bottle for $85 a tank, which is about 1/12 times the propane cost, and would have cost me just about double filling the 100 gallon. I wrote them a letter and explained that along with the hassle of restarting furnace when tank goes empty, also explained I have done all my business with them and the gas station for 26 yrs. Seems no difference or loss to them at all as never even had a call to negotiate an alternative to what he presented me. Not the most people freindly even at the office with the secretary, they make you feel like you are stupid and they know better. Thanks and would never recommend doing business with them. Val Kitzan

Very rude receptionist was told that they don’t want to waste their time to bring 20 gallons when they have many other customers to take care of I expressed that this is my first time with lp I don’t know how it works how much I need to fill she claims she doesn’t know how to answer the questions just all around rude company that only wants big money and could care less about small business

Service is great, they have been delivering to my house for 5 years now and we have never had a situation where we ran out. It's only a 100 gallon, so a small account and they still keep me as a priority.

The owner Larry William is dishonest and underhanded when it comes to his business practices. He overcharges customers and then actually wants payment to pump fuel from the tank. He has the audacity to charge $7.54 to pump the said gas. He then compensates the owner with a mere 52 cents per gallon and charges the owner $2.11 per gallon for the fuel. Only under great duress did he forego the tank emptying charge. I would never do business with this company again and I'm disappointed that a small local business has no integrity.

This company is fabulous! We are able to pre-buy in the summer at a great rate, they deliver before we even have to call throughout the winter, and they're friendly every time I call. What more can I say? If you have a choice between one of the big names and this local business, I'd go with them every single time.
