My hubby and I were looking for quality hiking pants. We found clothing specifically made for hiking. We even found the sizes we needed. The store clerk was extremely knowledgable. We will definitely be back. Great staff, quality, stock and prices.

Both the Hiker Box (Wall St.) and the Hiker Box Too (Railroad St.) have great items at fair prices for all outdoor enthusiasts. Jessica and Tom are also so helpful- they really went the extra mile to ensure that I got the best fit possible on the backpack that I wanted! You can tell that they love what they do- it shows in both their store and their efforts.

Great little shop if you are into camping and hiking and things of that sort. Knowledgeable staff and they also have another store right around the corner in the old Alexander's pizza building that has more/other products. Including more hiking/camping gear or chairs, headlamps and everything else. And a good selection of maps of different kinds

Not rude inconsiderate patrons of other businesses or the rude shop owners who think they are entitled to use my parking lot because they don't have one! PRIVATE PROPERTY I DECIDE WHO PARKS HERE AND WHO DOESN'T if your patrons ask you tell them that. This is America!

The store's as there are 2 are both well stocked for the adventurer. What stands out is the friendly and accommodating service at both shops. The keepers at the Hiker Box Too very cheerful and contagious smiles. The owner who was at the other location very knowledgeable. I was looking for maps and they have them.

We rented snowshoes from The Hiker Box to explore Eagle River during our trip over the holiday weekend. We met Jessica & Tom, the owners and they were extremely knowledgeable in helping us get the proper snowshoes for our adventures. When we returned our snowshoes - I ended up buying a pair for myself to use and we also purchased some other awesome gear. This store in itself is worth visiting Eagle River, WI again. Absolutely loved it!

This is one of my favorite shops in downtown Eagle River. They have a little bit of everything and everything is super cool. Their pricing is not outrageous like other shops and it’s not the same commercial “stuff” that you will find at every other store. They have the best stuff for pets too especially their dog boots and dog jackets.
