This historic tavern located at 840 E. Madison St. in Eau Claire, WI was built by Walter Brewing Company in 1881 for distribution of their beer and the establishment has stayed as a tavern uninterrupted every year since! (Yes even through Prohibition!) One of the oldest continuously operating taverns in the Midwest, as Amber Inn Bar & Grill Inc., has been family owned and operated since 1981 and is "An Original Bar and Grill" with the best HALF POUND burgers and friendly service for all ages!
