Zero stars. This man put my GF and our son in danger by selling her a car that was dangerous to drive. The tires were so dry rotted (from 2014…. It’s now 2023) that blowouts could have killed her and my child. It also did not pass a basic safety inspection. The emission system was faulty causing C02 into the cabin of the SUV. He willingly used duct tape to “fix cracks” rather than just replacing it. He sold the vehicle “as is”. Understandable being that it’s used. But to not correct basic safety errors? Despicable. His “mechanic” doesn’t know how to change brakes or know how to grease caliper pins. Again a safety hazard for my family. Josh Anderson is a terrible person. His assistant Tony is just as bad. DO NOT GO TO AUTO KING.

Went to look at a few cars with my girlfriend, we ended up looking at a 2015 Chevy cruz RS that the owner immediately started spinning a story on, he told me his mechanic had just looked the whole thing over and they could assure me everything was good. I’m knowledgeable with vehicles as have worked on many. After starting the car I immediately noticed a sputtering from the exhaust when I went to pop the hood it had a very aggressive Rod knock that was very obvious when I brought it to his attention he simply stated. “Looks like this isn’t the car for you” and walked away. VERY SHADY STAY AWAY.

this place is horrible. The owners bought our car off marketplace. Lowballed us said it needed tons of work which I am a Mechanic it needed Nothing drove the car an hour to their shop after purchasing it from us said the brakes went out and was very dangerous. There was nothing wrong with the car. He claimed to have a growing family when purchasing off Facebook so he is a liar, horrible place would never purchase anything from them

HAIL TO THE KING BABY!!!!This place is great. If you're in the market for a reliable used car at an affordable price, look no further. My family has bought 3 cars from this place and we've always been satisfied. The selection is great, and there's no pushy sales pressure. The business manager Tony is the man! Credit not great? Auto king will work with you to get you in that new car. Cannot say enough good things about this place, will continue to get my used vehicles from Auto King.

We purchased our GMC terrain on 4/20/23.... Here we are 3 months later needing camshaft sensors. The car has been losing power for close to a month. After taking the engine apart from metal in the oil all over the engine. That's only part of the issues. After speaking with Tony several times today he's refused to make this situation right. We have reported the situation to the BBB.

Stay Away from This Dealership!; My experience with Josh at AutoKing is from selling him a car on Facebook. On Facebook he posed as a husband looking for a car for his growing family (thats an actual quote!). I immediately realized he was not being truthful but didn't really care. Here is where the real dishonesty starts, and especially my concern for the well-being of car buyers that trust him. I told him that I was the second owner of the car during the sale process, so, even if CarFax is incorrect he knows the true history of the car. Just to insure my review would be factual, I went to his dealership and personally validated that the car is now for sale on the lot and the windshield art indicates "one owner car". Based on my factual verification that he was buying the car for resale on his lot and is purposely mis-leading buyers on the value of the car by claiming one-owner status, I have to say "stay-away".

Auto King DOES NOT buy cars! If you plan to sell a vehicle, don't bother going to this one!

Had a very good experience here, except one thing. Easy purchase as I had came prepared to buy my vehicle and trade in my old one. It was a good deal and a very nice car. With the mileage I expected to need to put some money into it, on the second day of ownership my check engine light came on. Since I was already in town, I stopped by and had them read the code for the light to tell me what was wrong. The gentleman said it was a “history code”. Which I knew was BS as I have a code reader at home and I’ve never heard of this, then he cleared it before I could see it, so I just played it off and left. I waited for my check engine light to turn on again and read it at home it was an issue with my turbo. Like I said, I had no issue putting money into this car and wouldn’t have been mad as it was a used car. Cleared it and I’ve read it three times with the same code. So he lied about the code, because it doesn’t just change. Unfortunate, but I suppose do what you want with this info. It is a dealership anyway.

I thought I would have had a different experience. but I would not recommend this place to family and friends. They say they look over the vehicles but the day after I bring it home wheels grind when turning. turned out power steering bump blew out. Mind you at that point they did help, took it back able to fix and with no extra cost which I was thankful for but showed me red flags about the vehicle, then had it another month & a half and transmission started slipping when turning, I go back and get told they will call to have looked at.. never did. So my in laws go in and owners partner claims he would talk to the boss about the situation have him call them…Nothing no phone call, four-five days later I get time to go over and owner is there claims no knowledge of it says he will talk to the partner and give a call…nope no call and to top it off it also had a air bag light on as well was told he was looking for that part but calmed he forgot about that too. Sounds like lack of communication and not truly caring for their customers like they calm to. I do not recommend businesses because now I have to fork out $5400 to replace and get a warranty for a new transmission while trying to pay off the rest of what I owe and it hasn’t even been 3 months!!

Very great place to work with on buying a vehicle, I did most of my interaction thru email and online and it was great!! Would definitely recommend people deal with them for their next vehicle

I had been warned but took a chance anyway. I was told by Tony that" we always change the oil". I couldn't find an oil change sticker but took his word for it. I checked the oil after a few weeks and it was nearly bone dry. I called Tony and he stated there was nothing he could do - not even reimburse me for the oil. What about the low oil warning system? Very disappointed to say the least

I went to the Auto King on Birch Street looking for an affordable car I could take home asap. The owner made a whole show of telling my dad and I how he sells amazing used cars at the cheapest possible rates to stick it to the man (other dealerships) because he hates how they take advantage of people. He even made a point to say how messed up it is to sell a car someone already chose and applied for. He told me the process would be quick and easy just submit an application, find a car, pick a bank, and take the car home. They picked the bank for me before I picked a car without saying a word to me. I did all the work giving their loan guy info and he says I'm pre-approved no down payment and gives me my budget. I picked the car I wanted and they said that would be my car, they'd let me take it home tomorrow when the application was complete. The next day the loan guy calls and says I actually can't get that car or any car and the loan guy reccommends some dealerships that are apparently only word of mouth and don't advertise at all. I go in there 2 hours later and they are in the process of selling the car I picked but say they might be getting another one I can have for way cheaper. I wasted almost a full week and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
