Eau Claire County Humane Association (ECCHA) is a dedicated organization that cares deeply for animals and the community. They are currently open by appointment only for adoptions, surrenders, and resource assistance, with visits to see adoptable pets available on Thursdays and Sundays during construction. The organization is known for its friendly, professional staff who are knowledgeable about animal welfare and help people find the perfect pet. ECCHA has a strong reputation for taking in and rehoming animals, ensuring they are well cared for and assessed for their physical and behavioral needs. The team also works to reunite lost pets with their owners and provides support through donations and foster programs. Many appreciate their extra effort and the services they provide, which have a positive impact on pets and people alike. Their efforts continue to be valued by the community as they prepare for a new building to better serve the Chippewa Valley.
Awesome people. They don't act like they own these lovely creatures. Love 'em

Buzz and other staff were so professional and helpful. They understood the situation with a stray cat, offered options, and were supportive of the solution.
The facility is so clean. Animals appear to be so well cared for by staff and volunteers. Thank you for your service to the community.
