This place is a joke, I wish I could give negative stars. We are on month 5 of my husband trying to get his sleep apnea taken care of. His Dr deemed it urgent and even said he wanted him to have his sleep study done within 2 weeks, and it took over 3 months to be seen and have his test done. Now we're almost 2 months after his test STILL waiting for the Dr to "read" the results and let him get a cpap machine. We were waiting for this test to be done before we switch to Mayo but at a certain point this ridiculous game of hurry up and wait isn't worth it. I would rather pay to have this whole test done again then play this game. I also made an appointment to be seen for other reasons, waited 2 months for that appointment only to be referred to a DIFFERENT department, which had a 10 month wait to be seen. Why does this place even exist!!! Such a joke!!

The closing of all urgent cares and having just the ONE at the hospital was a terrible idea. I had my son in for almost 3hrs and the room was still full of patients prior to our check in, waiting to get seen. Is there only one doctor in urgent care!?!

Wonderful. Just can't think of anything that would have made it any better. WAIT. Candy Striper Service Monkeys. That's it. A sandwich, a little dance, and a hug from a monkey. This is Marshfield's opportunity to be at the forefront of an upcoming Megatrend in Healthcare. Stay Blessed ?

Urgent Care/Emergency DepartmentI keep bringing my kids back here thinking "this time couldn't be as bad as last time" but it always is. The staff, specifically the physicians, tend to be dismissive and hurrying, as if they couldn't possibly be bothered to answer questions and concerns from stupid, anxious parents. They did very little to address the reason we came in and instead prescribed antibiotic treatment for ear infections (which is appreciated). The initial treatment for the chief complaint "didn't work" and not a single other word was said about the chief complaint which is a severe cough that is causing my infant to not be able to catch his breath and turn purple. So we were sent home with zero information on what to do about this cough and concerning lung sounds.I also understand and acknowledge that healthcare staff are overworked and understaffed, but they took absolutely zero extra time or consideration to help my baby be comfortable during any of the testing or treatment that was done. They just wanted to get it done as fast as possible (not because it was severe, but because they had better places to be). The only personable employee we worked with was a male nurse but he also seemed overworked. It's also always SO HOT in there! My baby and I were both drenched in sweat by the time we were done.

Marshfield Medical Center - Eau Claire Center is for some reason uncapable of keeping pediatricians from leaving. My daughter is 6 and has had 5 different pediatricians due to attrition. At present there is a single female pediatrician on staff and as of today I have now been called to have my daughter's appointment rescheduled a third time. My wife and I are discussing leaving the care of the Marshfield Med Center for our child's care for the simple reason that it seems like it may be the only way to provide her care with a consistent female pediatrician.

This genuinely was the worst experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care. The first time I went I waited for 5 hours. The second time I went for the same issue because the first time I got dismissed. I saw Dr.Kevin Hanson because I was in pain for 4 hours that day before I wanted to go in. After I saw him he ordered an ultrasound and when he came back he told me I has a very large cyst on my ovary and I wasn’t sure what that meant. For months I had pain in my upper right stomach right below my ribs so it didn’t not make sense because my pelvic area never hurt. He kept saying “we will get you out of here as soon as possible” but that was not my concern because I was in so much pain I just wanted to get help. After he told me about the cyst he didn’t follow up on what that meant or why it would be causing my that much pain, a nurse came in and gave me my discharge papers. On the discharge papers it did not say anything about me having a cyst and under diagnosis it said “abdominal pain”. I felt so dismissed. When I finally called a couple of times on nurse lines they got me in to see me primary doctor. She told me she wanted to take a closer look at my gallbladder and it doesn’t make sense on how I went sent home after being told I had a large ovary after being in pain everyday for months. I’m not here to be angry but I just want people to be aware of the treatment you will get. I like my primary doctor but I’ve been doing my research and have head better things about oakleaf and mayo. I respect doctors and appreciate them. I was just shocked how dismissed I was my dr.Kevin Hanson.

Called the local number to put a simple note on the billing account and the customer service rep was clearly not functional and seemed to be on something. Asked to speak to a supervisor and call ended only to have her call me on my cell from her own number and threaten me and scream obscenities on a Georgia based number. Called "Customer Experience" department to report it and got hung up on. Later on my daughter started receiving threatening phone calls from a different Georgia based number. Police will be involved. If you like this sort of thing...go to Marshfield. I WILL PRESS CHARGES.

The WORST healthcare system in Western Wisconsin. The administration favors their salary and profit over patient concerns. They have to hire LOCUMS doctors because they can't keep capable physicians longer than their initial 2-year contract. They provide $700,000 bonuses to their CEO in 2020 while laying off nursing staff. This healthcare system is DYING. FIND A DOCTOR IN ANOTHER SYSTEM, WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!

The worst hospital for service I have ever visited. Totally non informative and when you ask questions you get a attitude. I totally recommend going someplace else for any health care.

absolutely worst run clinic in Eau Claire. Was forced to go there for insurance because ours didn't cover oakleaf where i use to go. Marshfield has to be worst run clinic I've ever been to. Seems they don't know what their doing there at all. called and asked for explanation of tests before going through another procedure there and they never called and then canceled my procedure. not impressed at all.

Went it about a week ago with serious migraine and sinus pressures. The specialist said everything looks fine she did blood test pee test. A week later which is today i woke up with a 103.2 fever. Now im in a whole of about $1k + as i dont have insurance. The specialist said go home take some ibuprofen youll be fine. They're obviously just here for a paycheck then off to the next patient. This is the worst hospital ive visited . Im trying to get better but i feel discriminated. Im from Minnesota and i moved to Eau Claire, people look at me different im assuming because im mexican with a nice mustache, and just write me off and make thing more difficult for me. What am i paying for? This is so frusterating. 0/5 stars

This is actually the Hospital, but the main clinic is next door. Excellent front staff, to welcome you, take a COVID scan, and get you to your appointment. It's big Medicine still delivered in a homespun manner.

Scheduling is an absolute mess. Multiple times now I've had referrals go un checked for weeks at a time. Mri but no follow up to go over results. Seems like the communication between departments is terrible, one will say one thing, another will say something completely different. Simply put, DO BETTER FOR YOUR PATIENTS!! If Mayo clinic would even see me I would definitely think about switching...
