I came here to hike around and to try out my new backpack to see if I like it. I climbed up to Mount Simon and hiked around the top and bottom. The trail from the park to the peak is challenging and not really maintained. There is another trail to the peak that comes out on one of the side roads that is an easier climb.

Wonderful play to relax. This park has a nice 9 hole frizbee golf course. There deer are aways around
Park is also very clean.

A beautiful park along the river but be sure to drive out and around to the other access point so you can climb to the peak!
