I live close, so I did a few walk-ins having to call ahead to check. They're so great! They listen to what you want and adjust. I also brought in my 5 y.o. daughter to get a haircut, too. It was a great experience for her.

Even though Shear Experience is a bit of a haul for us, we refuse to pick a salon closer to home. Sam is absolutely incredible. Our whole family goes to her and here's why. Our son had near crippling anxiety when it came to getting his hair cut. We tried multiple salons around town and every time, he started to panic. A little over a year ago, a girlfriend recommended we try Shear Experience as the ladies there were great. Fast forward to today, our son doesn't throw a fit anymore when we mention he has to get his hair cut. He actually looks forward to seeing Ms. Sam and the ladies at the salon. All of the ladies at Shear Experience are wonderful but Sam has such an incredible approach to children. She is kind, personable, caring and very patient. I can't recommend this place enough!

I was nervous to go to a new hair salon, but since I’ve moved, I needed to find someone local. Ashlyn was able to get me in the same week that I was looking for an appointment. (My schedule is already hard to fit anything in)
Anyway, I wanted to go lighter and cover up my grays. Ashlyn explained everything to me and made sure my hair could handle the color before applying it to my entire head. Not only did she do an amazing job with the color, but she helped my hair feel healthy and fresh after cutting off the split and dead ends.
She literally worked magic on my hair and I will definitely be returning!!

What a great place with great atmosphere!! I was greeted immediately upon my arrival, and offered a beverage! Shelby was absolutely amazing. I got gel nails and a spray tan! 100% will be going back!!! Thanks ladies for an amazing experience!!! 😘

Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are great at working around your schedule. They now carry Kenra products which is very convenient for me highly recommend them.

I have been seeing Shelby Phillips since I was in preschool. And since she was in beauty school. I have had nothing but a great experience with her, she is so precise and pays such close attention to detail. I have never left an appointment unhappy with my hair! The staff of shear experience is great as well. Everyone is so kind and welcoming! I 100% recommend. I have very hard hair to cut sometimes with my cowlick being in the front of my head. And Shelby has been the only hairdresser to figure out how to cut my hair right. Coming here is like a haircut and therapy all in one, everyone has a smile on their face and amazing humor. You will always leave with a smile and renewed spirits!
