We stopped during our travels from MN to Chicago. The bathrooms were cleaned and smelled pleasant! Looked like there were a nice assortment of snacks to choose from. Also has a Dunkin Donuts and a Taco John’s attached to the gas station. Only gave 4 stars because their gas did not have ethanol in it, so we couldn’t purchase gas. Otherwise was a pleasant experience.

The first question when we walked in was - “IS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME IN WISCONSIN?”
Whoever is that old lady at the cashier register, she doesn’t deserve to work there! Super rude, like someone mentioned, racists, that make sense to me. We didn't feel welcome there. Deserve 0 stars! I'm just wondering how she is still there when many people are complaining about her attitude! We used the restroom, she was staring at us and following us like we stole half of the store! She approached our kids and asked them do they plan to buy that toys, when the kids said “NO, WE ARE JUST LOOKING”, she blamed them that they broke few toys, what is not true, they didn't even touch that toys she showed. She continued staring at us, and talking something about us to other customers. Super rude cashiers, and super bad service! Later, I read reviews, so I figured out we are not the only ones with this experience with that lady.

Stopped in to use the restroom and grab snacks. Clean. Very friendly staff! Good environment, even though it was busy.

Nice gas station just off Interstate 90. It has the typical snacks and drinks you would expect to find at a store like this one. It has two restaurants onsite as well, a Taco John's and a Dunkin', if you are looking for something like that. The store and exterior were clean for the most part and it was easy navigating inside and outside of the store.
The reason I deducted a star was because the outside near the pumps seems to need more attention. The trash was full and the windshield cleaning station solution or water seemed to be stagnant. Overall however, it was a good stop.

Carl's Shell is price gouging. Right now their price on 91 premium ethanol free is $5.09 a gallon. Wi average is $4.43 per gallon. I'm sure they are not doing it to stab the Illinois residents with their boats on Lake Koshkonong because they have no other choice or because they THINK no one will report it.
What kind of lame response is that?

Normally, I would not rate a gas station fill up stop. I went in to use the bathroom, and I grabbed a snack. The guy at the counter was just an awesome dude. Very friendly and interactive with the customers.

I have been customer of that gas station for years. Always got a gas over there and buy live bait. Last time I wanted to buy large suckers and to get them from a tank they need to scooped into a net and later those suckers that are good enough needs to be picked by hand and transferred to fishing bucket. I have done that hundreds times and never seen anyone else do it other way. Last time a guy who worked there told me that I could not do it because I was touching fish and they would die later. He could be right but I told him I was touching only fish that I wanted to take from the net to my bucket. The answer from that rude inconsiderate guy was "I do not care you can not do that way". When I asked him how to do it he said "I do not know". So these are possible scenarios for that impertynent, rude person. Use you brain and help your customer and do it by yourself or second option is provide small net that can be used to select desired bait fish from big net to transfer it to the bucket. There are more bait shops around and on the way up north as well as gas stations. taking my business somewhere else

Convenient and clean. Good store, but the summer is a royal pain! Too many tourists and prices are too high, and the carwash is almost always out of order.
