From Birch Creek Music Performance Center
Birch Creek, located in the heart of Wisconsin's beautiful Door County, is a young musician's dream. Founded in 1976, this unique summer music academy and concert venue provides talented students, grades seven to graduating high school senior, advanced training as well as the opportunity to perform publicly alongside some of the top music professionals in the country.
We offer four two-week summer sessions: Percussion & Steel Band, Symphony, and Jazz (two sessions). The student-to-faculty ratio averages 2:1, ensuring that students receive attentive mentoring from top music educators and professionals. Following the academy season we also offer a Wind Ensemble Retreat and a Chamber Music Retreat for adult musicians.
