Outstanding customer service! We needed some assistance during our vacation stay and the help and communication from the Simple Life team was outstanding. As a renter, we were so appreciative of the excellent service and communication. If I were a property owner, I would not hesitate to use their management services. Thank you!

Being a new investor in the STR market, The Simple Life team puts us at ease with their guidance through the process of getting our rental ready. The team of knowledgeable resources they provide to us, show their commitment to our partnership. We appreciate how responsive they are to all of our questions and how fast our bookings accumulated since we went Live. We look forward to providing our guests comfortable accommodations during their visit to Door County.

Awful company. The rental was so dirty that we couldn't stay. They did not issue a full refund or appear to listen to our concerns about a dirty unit and unsafe wiring. Do not use them.

Working with Simple Life made my life easier. I work full time plus and Simple Life gave me a turnkey vacation for me and my family. Rent with a company that knows Door County with boots on the company. Enjoyed the location and beautiful summer experience.

We rented The Barn at Silver Creek in Algoma, WI. Simple Life Hospitality was the host for this rental property. We paid extra fee to Check-In two hours earlier. That didn't happen. Someone finally opened electronic lock at regular check-in time which was 4pm. No one from Simple Life Hospitality contacted me to issue a refund for this inconvenience since we did not receive what we paid for.Update: after they've seen my review they did issue a refund. We quickly found out Simple Life Hospitality wrote misleading information in the description of this place and surroundings. They said guest have 1 minute walk or 0.1km (100 meters) to the Lake Michigan shorline. Well they forgot to mention that this house doesn't have access to shorline and only access would be to cross someone else's private property. Second misleading information was about Fire Pit. It was not Fire Pit but Heat Table powered by propane with Glass Lava Rock. Biggest issue with this property was upstairs thermostat. For some reason Simple Life Hospitality had it set so every time we left upstairs even for couple minutes it would stop cooling and temperature would rise to 85°F on second floor. There was no way around it. We couldn't even use upstairs for most of the time because it would take 5-6 hours to cool down every time we left. This should not be allowed. If I am renting property I want to set Thermostat to the way I like it. Lastly property could be cleaned better. Dust webs everywhere and spider webs inside the vents. I rented many properties in different states throughout the years but this is first time I got mislead like this. Won't be renting from this management company in near future.

We recently vacationed at 9831 Norwegian Wood Dr, Ephraigm - a beautiful large & secluded home. There was plenty of room for our family of 9. This was a VRBO rental & SIMPLE LIFE was the vendor for billing, access to property, cleaning, etc. Our experience with SIMPLE LIFE was mainly virtual. We are generally tolerant & understanding, but this rental was a NEGATIVE experience & we will not rent using SIMPLE LIFE again. When we called SIMPLE LIFE with questions, one agent yawned several times, another agent had unresponsive lapses in the conversation. They referred our concern and then we would get a "scripted" text message that didn't fit our direct concern. SIMPLE LIFE handles the supplies & cleaning of a rental. The check-in info stated "2 rolls toilet paper" per bathroom. 3 of our bathrms had 1 whole roll & 1/4 of another roll, so we asked for more when we ran out. Their scripted text said they could not give us more! Really?! Several hand soap dispensers were empty, dish detergent dispenser on counter did not work, dishwasher was very dirty (we hand washed everything), coffee maker was clogged (used vinegar to decalcify), wasp nest outside front door & around side of house, entry instructions to front door were incomplete but we eventually figured it out on our own. Our experience with SIMPLE LIFE was impersonal, the upkeep of the home was poor, the billing process was complicated with different amounts quoted each time they communicated. We are generally tolerant & understanding, but this was a negative experience. We will not use VRBO rentals that use SIMPLE LIFE as an "integrated partner". We spent more money for our rental because of this 3rd party billing, but we did not get the service that would have made this home an excellent experience.

We rented the Raven's Nest in Mountain, WI. We had a not so great experience and gave feedback as such. No response or acknowledgment whatsoever until the respose on google reviews regarding the A/C. Now I fee the need to clarify: when we arrived we opened the door to a stifling hot 89 degrees and the smell of garbage. Our first order of business was to look for the welcome binder to figure out how to get the A/C running only to find out there was none. We called to get some direction only to get an answering service. After about 2 hours of back and forth the A/C got figured out. Unfortunately it was so hot in there the small unit did not have a chance. Next was to figure out where the stink was coming from. Turns out there was still garbage in the unit from the previous renters. By now it was clear they did not care enough to have someone do a walk through prior to our arrival to get the place ready for us. Being one of the priciest rentals in the area we expected much more in the way of customer service, and certainly did not expect to spend the first few hours of our vacation prepping the house. To be fair, the property itself is amazing: waterfront access with multiple outdoor spaces for recreation and relaxation. The house itself is beautiful and spacious. We had a blast in the indoor game room. Unfortunately for most people it's the little things that make the biggest impact, and that is where The Simple Life is sorely lacking.

We stayed at a studio apartment in Bailey's Harbor 7/10/23-7/13/23. Booked through Airbnb. Left review there and my review has not been posted.Upon arrival, the unit was not ready. The cleaners were still working and it was already 4 pm. Once we got into the apartment, it did appear clean and well appointed. Approximately 7.5 hours into our stay, shortly before midnight, we lost power in the living/sleeping area of the apartment. The home owners live onsite, but I was to contact the Simple Life with any issues since they manage the vacation property and the Airbnb booking is through The Simple Life. They apologized for the "inconvenience" and told me there wasn't much they could do as they were unable to reach the homeowners. I was told they would try again in the morning. The next morning, the power was back on once the owner was up. However, it quickly went back out. I made several calls to The Simple Life, that next morning, and were told they were going to see what they could do about it. We left for the day to sightsee, and were told an electrician was coming out while we were gone. By 2 pm that afternoon, I had not received any updates, so I messaged them again. Around 4 pm they replied said an electrician would be coming the next day, and that the owner would supply us with an extension cord and a lamp. When we arrived back to the apartment later on day 2, we had an extension cord and lamp waiting for us. We were to plug the extension cord into a kitchen outlet so that we could use it in the living/sleeping area. Shortly after this, we lost power in the kitchen area that the extension cord was plugged into. At this point, I contacted Simple Life again, as well as Airbnb support, as I felt like this was not just an inconvenience. We paid over $800 for 3 nights on this rental. I asked Simple Life when we could start a discussion about a refund of some sort. The homeowners happened to be around quite a bit during our stay and would flip the breaker for us periodically, but it would only keep power on briefly. The breaker is located in an area of the main residence, that renters do not have access to. There was one GFI outlet in another area of the kitchen that we we ended up plugging the extension cord into for the duration of our stay. The home owners noted that the repair would not happen until after we checked out on the morning of the 13th and they hoped it would be fixed before their next guests arrived later that afternoon on the 13th, as they noted they are booked all summer.Ultimately, we were given a refund of only$105.79 and $52.80 for the loss of power for all but 7ish hours of our stay on a total bill of $847.08. Simple Life again apologized for the inconveniences but hoped we enjoyed our stay.I will add that one of the reps I spoke to at Simple Life did not appear to know about our issue even after giving him all my information, the address of the property and informing him there was already a case open for 2 days. He said he could not find anything about the case and recommended that we just go talk to the homeowners and ask them if they could help.I left a review on Airbnb, but it has not yet been posted. Upon further review, I noticed that there have been no reviews posted for that particular property since May. The homeowners noted that their place is booked the entire summer, so I thought it odd there aren't more reviews.

I absolutely love working with Simple Life Hospitality! We've been with Simple Life Hospitality for a little over 2 years. Everyone is professional & friendly from the cleaning staff on up to the Owner's Wendy & Scott. We communicate with each other on a regular basis. If an issue arises, we determine the best course of action. Since joining forces with Simple Life Hospitality, we have been booked more than ever. I highly recommend hiring them to oversee your rental. I tell everyone that has a rental to check them out. You won't be disappointed.

I can’t say enough good things about The Simple Life Hospitality. As an owner, I was VERY reluctant to hire a property manager for my vacation rental after the less than stellar experience I had using a property manager for my long term rentals, but I’m so glad I took the chance and went with Simple Life. They are more than I could ever have hoped for in a property manager. They are very good at communication, they handle everything related to guests, they are very knowledgeable, they always have time for me, and they make me feel like I’m one of their very few clients (although that is far from the case). If you have ever thought of truly being hands off with your vacation rental, you will not find a better company than Simple Life

Simple Life has managed my rental property lake house in the Northwoods since 2017 and my experience has been amazing. I love being able to share my home with travelers while not having to interact at all with the guests. I'm so grateful to the team!

We stayed in Loon Rapids Lodge in Mountain, WI which is a beautiful place by itself. However, the place was incredibly dirty. The management is charging a high fee for cleaning but with all their policy for renters (strip the beds, wash the dishes, take out the garbage), they’re not meeting their own high standards. To begin with, my mom’s room had dead flies all over the bed and floor (see pictures attached). My sister’s blanket was torn on the corner. As I’ve mentioned before, the renters are responsible for taking off the bedsheets and pillowcases. That’s what me and my husband followed when we discovered how yellow and dirty our bedding was. I understand we were staying in a cabin, not a 5 star luxury hotel in downtown Chicago, however it is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting to treat your guests this way. The cherry on the cake were sticky dishes and a silverware drawer with some spices or dust in it. Also, how can you ask the guests to wash the dishes in a place where there’s no dishwasher, if you don’t provide them with a sponge? Well, we had to improvise and use a hand rag leaving the place upon check out cleaner than it was at check in. All in all, I’m giving 3 stars to our overall staying as the nature was beautiful and the house was nice itself too, only if it was taken a proper care of.
