It is very nice and easy to find what you're shopping for. Plus people are very friendly.

The inventory and the produce section is like art. It’s so beautiful to look at. The store is clean and organized. It’s a pleasure to shop in the store. BUT upon leaving, I was greeted with an overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The employees smoking at the exit took away from my great experience. As soon as the door to the outside opened, the disgusting smell of cigarettes took over me. Really disgusting sight to see … the wind was blowing just right, toward the exit, downwind from the group of smoker employees.

The prices are going higher, and they don’t except OTC food cards. I only shop there when I have to. They do have a store flier in the weekly paper. I watch for the best sale prices. They have good meats and produce.

Hate that this is the closest grocery store to me, now that it is Hansens I have to take extra time and go to Delavan or Janesville. In the last 2 months I have had dealings with 2 rude employees that should not be working with the public. The first time I went in their website and complained and never heard anything back. Today I was in the produce dept looking at the jalapeños, I had been in a few days ago and bought jalapeños and although they all looked wrinkled and bad spots I needed some for a recipe so I bought them when I cut them open the seeds were all brown and rotting. There was an employee stocking tomato’s right behind me, so I asked were jalapeños hard to find right now. He tried to ignore me but I was persistent and he finally said no they weren’t. I then asked why all of theirs were old and wrinkled, he said they weren’t. He just kept looking away and did not want to talk so I grabbed 2 and showed him. He paused and finally said he’d go back and get some new ones, I told him no thanks and I’m sorry to bother you. Why would they have a whole thing of rotting jalapeños out for sale if they had new ones in the back. I didn’t believe him. Maybe the employees are not happy with the new owners or not I don’t know but these people should not be able to talk to customers. Not happy with the quality of the food either and this store will be my last stop from now on.

Meat quality has been a massive disappointment since the new ownership took over. Used to forgo the trip to Lake Geneva meats because Franks was just as good for most cuts at a fraction of LGM cost. Back to exclusive meat markets for us.

Way more expensive now that its a hansons then it was piggly wiggly. Prices have gone way up compared to before. We're gonna start shopping at the delavan piggly wiggly more and start hitting up woodmans, sams club and festival more now. Really disappointing since we live in elkhorn but these owners are just greedy

Get a receipt every time you shop. I bought a watermelon and other items. Went right home and cut the watermelon open. No good. Took it right back and was asked what's wrong with it, do you have your receipt? I said, " I was here 15 minutes ago, you asked me if I wanted a receipt when I paid for the watermelon and I said no. If you are going to give a customer a hassle for a refund, you shouldn't off a choice of no receipt. The previous store ownership ALWAYS offered a receipt.

Sale prices are a joke. Wishbone salad dressing was ON SALE for $4.19, went to the Pig in LG and was $1.99. Sports drinks the lowest price was $1.58 “on sale,” might as well buy at a gas station. Sale price of Yoplait yogurt was 10/$8, ridiculous. Went to the Pig and it was 10/$4. Know your price points before you shop here or travel 15 minutes and make your dollar go farther.

Used to shop here regularly when it was Frank's, but was just back for the first time as an IGA. The prices are just bonkers. I usually spend about $170 a week...today was over $200 and it was a short list. Totally ridiculous pricing.I'll happily drive to Mukwonago or Waukesha from now on. It's crazy that Pick n Save has lower prices than an IGA.

The store is well stock although a little pricey. Pic & Save and Walmart are cheaper but this is our only market in town so we're stuck if we don't feel like driving. Also the employees/checker aren't very friendly and don't smile. The nicest there is the ones who work in the deli.
