I really wish I had another pharmacy option that was as close to me as this one is, as it is the only reason I come here. The service ROUTINELY a disappointment and full of mistakes. Prescriptions are consistently delayed, not ready on time, sent to the wrong location, not ready when they say they will be, and the wait time in the drive through is very long. When they mess up, people go without medications that they need and are counting on. I wish Walgreens was a smaller business that would care about a customer complaint, but they are too big. Whatever process they use to manage service delivery, it is not working.

21 years of service at this specific Walgreens and I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I had called the pharmacy the day before to check to see if my prescription would be available the next day. The tech checked and told me it would be ready for pick up between 9:00-9:30. So the next day I called to make sure that they were ready. I was then told there were no prescriptions for me to pick up. I was advised to call my doctor to have him write out a prescription. Now need you know this is a Saturday. I told the tech that Pain Management is not open on Saturdays. Then I was advised to go to the local emergency room or Urgent Care! Seriously????!!! This would have costed me quite a few hundred dollars just for the visit and then for either or to tell me they cannot help me. So I decided to go in and talk to the tech…. my prescriptions were there..they filled it. I didn’t get an apology And it took over 30 minutes to get it, even though there was no one in the drive-through and only one at the counter. They have tech’s there that can’t pronounce medication‘s, they cannot find prescriptions. Mine was not the only one. somebody else was at the counter with the same problem. There’s so much more I could say about this visit and last night’s phone call but I’m too frustrated. I will end with this, if you know your prescriptions are there and you call and they say they are not do what I did and go in! Chances are you’re gonna be right and they’re gonna be wrong! I will now after all these years of using Walgreens switching to a new pharmacy.

This place is a joke. I've been waiting for 2 days to get through to somebody on the phone but their phone systems are down. I have yet to have one transaction go smoothly at the pharmacy. I dread having to pick up my monthly meds because I know I'm going to have to spend an hour on the phone and get horrible customer service and attitude

So fed up with Walgreens Pharmacy in Elkhorn. I wish this was my first complaint. Weeks ago I noticed my daughter was getting low on meds and went to request refills through the app. The meds were missing from her list, so I called the pharmacy....someone had closed it (so much for autofill). I requested a refill. They stated they would fax the doctor. A week or so later, still nothing. So I called again. They said they had messaged the doctor twice without a response. I verified that were messaging the right doctor (something they hadn't been doing previously). This time they had. I requested the refill from the doctor myself on 8/22. Yesterday I checked the Walgreens app, nothing, so I messaged the doctor. They responded that they had sent the approval on 8/22. I called and spoke with the pharmacy and they denied ever hearing back from the doctor. I explained that my daughter, who has significant mental health issues, was now without medication and had been today and will be going forward. They said they could do an emergency amount until they connected with the doctor and would start it right away, normally stating they don't do so until the person gets to the store. I drove out, as at in the drive thru line for approximately 30 minutes....which is insane...but often the norm here. Only to get to the front of the line and them tell me that they didn't have her meds. When I explained that it was an emergency amount they said I had to come into the store to get them. When questioned as to why, and that this wasn't told to me on the phone .....Or I wouldn't have waited 30 minutes outside....they claimed it to be policy. I told them to give me the meds I came for....not the emergency meds as I was on my way to pick up my kids from school and I would be taking my entire family's business elsewhere. At that time they could send the meds through the drive thru.
I tried to call corporate to file a complaint, this would be my second, but of course it is just on a loop and you never get to a human. Just a recording saying good afternoon and to push 1 for customer service or 0 for an agent.

At my fault I neglected to call in my prescription prior to running out.
I phoned it in this morning. And the automated call said ready on Monday.
I would be short (2) days.
I was able to speak to Adrianna in pharmacy. Whom I have never met.
She was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
I Thank Her. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.

Expensive but if you need 1 or 2 things & don't want to spend the gas to drive to Walmart then OK. Cashier is always nice/friendly

Every time I come in someone always greets me and is so friendly. And this Walgreens is literally my one stop shop. Right up the street from me and always has the necessities I come in for!

Manager in morning dismissive. The manager in the PM Lazy. CONTEXT... I checked online to make sure they had product, they did have it in stock. The one manager in the morning said they had it but it's in a bin and they are too busy to get it. So I put the order in online for pick-up later. I go to pickup later in the evening and one item is missing. The PM manager said they didn't get to bins, but don't worry you weren't charged. This was 10 hours later, come on I could have got my product from the next town over. If it's not on the selves it's not in stock!

I don’t usually go to Walgreens, but when I do, this is the only one I go to. The people there are the absolute best, hands down.

Great customer service! Nice lady helped me find the prego tests while I was crying. They are accurate. the diaper selection is pretty good.
