If we could rate a ZERO we would! Brought in 4 new tires only for mount and balance, disposing of the old tires ourselves. Walked out with a $335.62 bill! They broke off a wheel stud, charged us without asking $120.00 in labor, $15.00 for parts, overcharged for valve stem replacements. We used them in the past, but this bill is ridiculous! We will not be back again.

My husband and I have been going here for years. They always do a wonderful job. A few weeks ago I brought my tahoe in knowing it needed a new transmission. They got me a good quality rebuilt one with a warranty on it. She drives amazing now and I am so thankful they were able to do such a good job in a short amount of time.

After having driven from California to Wisconsin, my car was due for an oil change. We found Tim’s South Side Auto, called to make an appointment and they told us to come on in. We were in and out of there within half an hour and were back on the road quickly.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend Tim’s South Side Auto.

I had a big, complicated issue with my car’s head gasket. Tim’s South Side Auto explained the problem and gave a price estimate for the work. I’m very happy to have my car fixed! Their honesty and expertise is greatly appreciated.

Not very happy! When I called, they told me a diagnostic test was seventy dollars and that they worked on volkswagens. Then I get a call from them, telling me, I had to tow it from there shop to a person who specializes in volkswagens. All they did to my car was put it on the diagnostic test and put one bolt and charged $200.

I was having issues with my muffler. It was getting pretty loud so I set up an appointment to get it fixed and check the rest my car make sure that it was in good condition for winter. I don’t know anything about mufflers, but I figured it would cost me around $300 Minimum. It was only a missing clamp that needed replaced and it was just over $100 but also included the price of checking over my car. I’ve used Tims auto for quite some time and I will not use anybody but Tims Southside auto. He has always been so very trustworthy, thorough and kind,

Do not come here idk who does the oil changes at this place but I've never in my life saw or know of ANYONE who puts blue locktite on an oil pan plug besides someone who doesn't know what they're doing or someone who is trying to cover up an f up and stop a leak from happening.... They over tighten the plug and put blue locktite on it too??? Unreal

On Monday, April 29, 2024, my front passenger side wheel bearing was winding very loudly. I called other repair services I have used in the past, and they were booked up for weeks. One of the repair shops recommended Tim's South Side Auto. I called them, and the lovely receptionist got me in on Wednesday. I took my vehicle out at lunchtime and the winding sound was louder. I called back to Tim's South Side Auto and told them the wheel bearing was getting worse and I probably shouldn't drive it too much longer. I asked if I could drop it off that night. The receptionist had to check with the owner who said it shouldn't be a problem. When I dropped off my vehicle I was told they could get it done on Tuesday. On Tuesday early afternoon Tim called me told me my vehicle was ready and gave me the cost for the repair. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. I couldn't thank him enough for the quick service. I would definitely use Tim's South Side Auto again.

Tim and Annie were super helpful, kind, and quick! We were traveling from out of state and had a broken tail light. When we called them Annie said they had a last minute cancellation and to come on through! Tim fixed us up fast and it was so affordable! I love supporting small businesses like these! Service was 10/10!
