Absolutely awful customer service. Had a U-Haul rental ready, went inside to go over all the paperwork and the man who "helped" me immediately said they only accept major credit cards. I told him I've used my bank card multiple times renting a truck through U-Haul at multiple locations, including this one, but instead he decided to yell at me that I was wrong. This was my go to place for renting trucks, but now I will go elsewhere.

The worst, most unpleasant, extremely inappropriate, unusually offensive, and simply uncivil customer service experience of my life. U-Haul and True Value representative Dwayne Whitt has earned himself an ego-maniac award of the year. It is employees like Dwayne that destroy reputations of brands and years of hard work of business owners. His negligent approach to customer service will forever turn people away from wherever he is working. I feel sorry for Dwayne, and especially for the business he is destroying…long story short - on a beautiful Sunday morning of August 22nd I arrived to pick up a U-Haul trailer. When I arrived 5 trailers were sitting there, but Dwayne said that I was 30 min late for my appointment, and he is executing the right to refuse me service for being late. Furthermore he said he will charge me $50 late fee- “just like doctors do”!!! While smell of cheap whiskey was hitting me when he spoke, I assumed Dwayne delusion was best to be left alone. I simply left and decided to just write this review.

Dwayne Whitt is the worst Uhaul representative I had displeasure meeting. When Bo and I showed up at 9:30 am on Sunday Aug 22 to pickup a trailer we reserved online a night before, Dwayne was standing outside the store and greeted us with these exact words “You are late, You don’t get a trailer today” I thought it was a joke and went inside True Value to buy a new hitch. When I got back to the counter Bo told me that Dwayne wasn’t kidding and is refusing to give us a trailer just because we are late. He told us that 9:00 reservation must be treated as a Doctors appointment and we will be charged $50 late fee. Then he told us to leave the store immediately. I told him that we will get a trailer elsewhere, went to the car and within minutes reserved another trailer at Delavan, but for $25 more because Delavan was out of our way back and I had to select Lake Geneva as drop off location.Next day I went through Uhaul reservation policies and couldn’t find any justification for Dwayne actions, there is not a word about $50 late fee, in fact Uhaul now owns us $50 reimbursement for not delivering a trailer we reserved or equal substitute due to incompetence of Dwayne Whitt.My guess is, Dwayne decided to teach us lesson for being 30 minutes late. The only lesson I learned is to avoid doing business with this Uhaul or True Value for letting employees like Dwayne to exist.

Poor management. Her parents were running this while the owner was out and they had no idea what they were doing. Argued with us for 2 hours before being able to actually drop off the truck. Plus the old man called us names. Horrible experience.

Available, but too expensive to use again. $19.95 turned into $57 to pick up furniture that I bought at the Salvation Army store. I will find a better way next time that I need to move something, or make sure that I have enough to make it worthwhile.

Bad day! The man was rude and they double charged me making my account over draft! There way of fixing was to give me 25$ off next visit... Hello!! I already moved hopefully I won't have to again for a long time!
