My daughter went to ship something at the post office and when she was confused on which service she should pick, she called me for help. Something didn’t add up so I asked her to go ask the front desk for help and if she could put me on speakerphone to try to clarify what we were trying to ship and etc. Angie was so rude, talked right over me mid sentence and then had the nerve to tell me I needed to stop talking and talking over her. When I told my daughter to walk out and go across town due to Angie’s poor customer service and rude behavior, Angie initially refused to tell me what her name was and told me if I wanted help I could come in myself- guess what? Sent my daughter across town to the shipping depot, spent $16 for fedex ground and it will be there tomorrow, not days from now, if they don’t lose it, for twice the price and without attitude.

Was at the post office yesterday. The woman was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I’ll definitely drive to another post office even though this one is the closest to my home.

The blonde lady at the front is usually somewhat rude to customers that come in. I've dealt with her a few times to go pay my rent and I try to just be kind, try to get her to smile but nothing. Kind of sucks.

Very rude customer service, particularly from the blonde woman at the front. I'd go to the Williams Bay Post Office if needing service.

Where is my mail? It’s been at your location and I come home to find you never even showed up. Now it’s saying the package won’t come for another three days. Can I just drive down there and finish the route for you?

Don't rely on this post office if you are expecting anything important...sometimes it comes..sometimes it comes..sometimes not..you can guarantee that all you will get on Tuesday is the paper if you are lucky...poor!

Imagine working for and dealing with a business where one in every ten reviews is only one star. I work at a local business that this post office has an open dislike for. Knowing this ahead of time, I ordered a package from Etsy that I knew would unfortunately be shipped via USPS. Worst of all, ELKHORN's USPS. Notably lacking in almost all categories. I prepared for this by ensuring all my ducks were in a row regarding delivery instructions and recipient names, as well as a very clear address. The birthday gift I ordered tracked being scanned in by them, then promptly returned to sender in the same day. After reading this, I immediately visited their office and waited until their lobby doors opened that morning. I provided all my details and documents to the initial clerk, who as most of the people who've left reviews here have noted was clueless. As if I was the first customer she's ever seen or handled. But the supervisor she brought to the counter was abhorrently worse. I asked her why they chose not to deliver my package when earlier in the same week they'd delivered one with the same delivery name and instructions. She made up arbitrary jargon on the spot while simultaneously getting snippy with me as if I was the problem. I then asked her what determines the consistency of what packages get delivered. She blamed it on the delivery driver who had the route that day, and that it was "by her discretion." So, admittedly, they choose what to deliver and what not to. Finally, she went on to say that I was "lucky I even got the first one." A warm thank you, Elkhorn USPS, for the considerable talent you have working on your team. Clearly the post master enforces this type of attitude and work ethic. What a great place to open up a post office.
